This may be a daft question but I haven't done a pre-order on a phone in a LOOOONG time; Does someone need to be present to sign for it through UPS in the US? Or is there a way to pre-sign for UPS?

I've always had success with having it held at the CC, except for last year when it was lost. It wasn't the CC's fault, though. They thought they had the phone because the pallet scan said it was there.

Having put in a CC hold request this AM, this gives me agita!

You’ll have to sign for it. UPS needed a signature for the iPhone case I ordered from Apple.

Now is not a terrible time to clean up the Home Screen and maybe adopt a new style. Does anyone know where the show your Home Screen thread is ? I couldn’t find it. Need some ideas

I was wondering about this: I put in the hold request this AM when my phone was between AK and KY, and everything seemed to be up to snuff. But the only thing I see in the app is that there's been a "change requested." I'm paranoid, so I'll likely call UPS again on Thursday and MAKE SURE I can get my phone Friday AM.

UPS will be busy for sure with calls just as yours. I'm pretty sure, by Thursday, you should see it flip to confirmed, or changed to pickup at CC, or something like that. You should also get an e-mail Thursday night or Friday morning confirming your phone is at the CC and ready for pickup.

Even with all this, we're all human and I think one time UPS put my phone on the truck despite my hold requests and confirmations...been a good while since that happened - but it can.

I’m excited for the reviews to come out tomorrow! I’m super interested in the satellite communication feature. I’m in the backcountry a lot, and this would give me some peace of mind to know I can call in the cavalry if I get to far up s*** creek. I’ve been wanting to buy a Garmin In Reach or a Spot device. Hopefully the iPhone‘s technology is robust enough to negate that need.

UPS 183 is taxiing. It has the same tail number as UPS 175 which brought us from CGO. Our phones are on this plane!
