I just realized with our departure from Korea and us heading to Kentucky, we're going to be reunited with our other two waves of iphones. We're coming to haunt you again Waves 1 and 2A. Wave 2B won't forget that slight you did to us yesterday!!!! (j/k! )

Space Black. I saw the photos of the much darker finish and thought it looked slick as hell, it still does, but Deep Purple has a nice iridescence to it.

I went with purple (PM 256) this year but was really struggling with that and a space black. I have done the unique color since the iPhone X, and haven’t had a black phone since my iPhone 7 Plus…

I want it to be just a bit more black… and even though this years is darker in certain light, it’s still a far cry from the Jet Black of the 7 plus when looking at marketing photos…. Which is what I want again.

look like mostly all iPhone are scheduled for Friday delivery has been departed / origin scan .

I was with Apple pre-order all the time , but this year I can't pre-order due to work , missed y'all.

So , will they have stock for walk-in customer this early Friday ?

Your best bet may be to stalk the online store or the store app. There were several phones available at stores near me today. Watch for the one you want and grab it for store delivery.

That's how I got my MacBook Air on launch day. I had an order, but I had waited and my delivery date was way out. I watched the store inventory and grabbed the one I wanted a couple of days before launch. Once I had it in hand, I cancelled the other order.

Well, I'm just praying nothing gets screwed up in Louisville again and my phone gets left behind and I end up getting it a few days after the delivery date. That was a very frustrating year.

There are still 2 whole days plus to get those iPhones to launch day delivery. There are plenty of flights, and some may not even pop up until right before departure. Gotta trust the process!

Well, I'm just praying nothing gets screwed up in Louisville again and my phone gets left behind and I end up getting it a few days after the delivery date. That was a very frustrating year.

Treat that as an outlier, not the norm. Positive thoughts.

There will very likely be another UPS 748 heading to ZHCC just like today to pick up 46 more containers (which nets out to around 210,000 iPhones given this new smaller packaging assuming nothing else is on board, given they've been running flights almost daily since Sat and I heard rumor of an Atlas charter, although I haven't personally confirmed that and even if it is true that more likely bulk cargo destined for carriers or retailers who have launch day allocations rather than direct-to-consumer, we have to be close to the end of the pre-order launch day volume).

I believe it happened last year. I was hoping this wouldn’t be the case but the scanning was delayed last year. There's always seems to be an issue with this.
