It’s no sleep week zone. Sleep after your iPhone arrives but I agree with you. 100%. This was coming @Kinggi we talked about this before Apple announced the iPhone 14 line up.
No matter how prepared I am for this week, I can never ever ever diminish my anticipation no matter what I do, sleep, work, vibe, just always so anxious 😂

strangely we did not take off... hoping no mechanical issue, as we're sitting on the secondary taxi lane now

A little upset that when I got notification that my case for my 14 Pro Max said it was delivering today, I checked the status of my iPhone order and the date has changed! I originally had a 16-Sept delivery on pre-order day but now the order page says delivers 28-Sept - 3-Oct! Apple changed my delivery date! I am bummed. I am thinking now to try a pick up on Friday and then cancel the online it I get one.
This seems unusual. Do you have a pending charge/authorization on your card for the iPhone?

Any update on this? I’m still stuck with “processing” and “null”
I reached out to Apple Support last night about this issue and they apologized for the confusion. This is what they had to say:

That’s actually a known issue. It shows like that because your order is not yet ready for pick up. Once the item is available for pick up, you’ll receive a pick up notification email or SMS as a reminder for your scheduled pick up time window. So the status will be updated once the item is available for pick up.

This issue is due to high volume of online orders. And it's nothing to do with the reservation of your iPhone.

Hopefully that’s the truth and we see some movement soon.
