I've still got mine too! Same deal, safely boxed and all accessories still with it - including the dock! Crazy to see how much was shipped with it! Mine still holds a charge and powers on! I did it on the anniversary a few months back.
likely a mechanical issue... hopefully either a quick fix, or UPS will be sending another plane up there STAT (they'd probably lose an absurd sum of money on their contracts with Apple if these are late for delivery)

The crew members that are in Louisville, Kentucky witnessed a "WOW" moment yesterday. Left everyone speechless.

As my new phone sits idling in Louisville I almost feel envious of all of you eagerly having something to track and focus on as your phones arrive there too. It's just the final waiting game now. Fortunately the imminent release of reviews / unboxings / etc will keep me distracted until things start moving again.
I've been monitoring the airport ground comms but there's been no information on the problem with 183 so far.
Plenty of time to still make it today. Could be a number of things happening there.

I agree. Also, it doesn’t show it’s facing any type of a delay.
I'm sure the next flight is already packed to the gills, and as this bird is loaded, they'll want to fix it up and get it airborne rather than have to transfer it all to another aircraft.

Just a heads up, if these are delayed past Friday, UPS may try to deliver on Saturday. If you requested hold for pick up at a CC, you’ll be waiting till Monday to get your phone.
