Yikes, the Verge's review was pretty critical. Not exactly what I wanted to see in my first review. 😬

The Verge's review may seem critical, but it was also fair IMO - Dynamic Island is new, things will need to be expanded updated over time, it's early days. Like Nilay said, it's the start of something new. The cameras - they posted the photos - I drew the same conclusions they did, doesn't seem like a big deal over the 13 pro. I'd rather that approach than the iJustines that just fawn over anything - that's not a review. Haven't watched everything, but other reviews generally seem more tepid this year - especially with the cameras. Things are just getting very incremental now. It's basically what I expected - on to Friday. Apple already has a day 1 update - I am sure things will be refined through software going forward.
