Same, blue is my favorite so I was just stuck between black or purple. I also decided on purple right before I ordered lol, I felt the black was looking a little too depressing for me since it's SO dark this time around

I’ve used Decluttr many times and it’s always been a great experience. As long as you are honest with choosing the appropriate condition of the device they’ve always paid me what I was quoted, usually the same day they received it.
Honestly, If Apple had decided to send me my iPhone via USPS Postal Service. You bet I'm calling Apple and telling them to send it to me via UPS/FEDEX Even DHL. Nothing against Post Office, I love them. But, please do not deliver or mail my iPhone. No!
I will say, I need to save my pennies for that leather case and MagSafe wallet in ink. Looks SO GOOD with the PURP
Omg same, my coworkers would poke fun at me since no one else cared to preorder, so they just don't understand the excitement! The week of tracking builds up so much anticipation. I also call it my first Christmas every year because it feels like it!

I think they are with all the people doubting they will get the iPhones Friday because their status is still "Preparing to Ship"

When I worked for the Police department.. I took a day off last year to Pre-Order my iPhone. My coworker was making fun of me and told me I'm crazy. I was like, ok cool. LOL We'll see. I even told her to pre-order the iPhone. She didn't listen and kept laughing at me. Long story short, I got my iPhone launch date delivery and she had to wait 2 months to get her iPhone. Didn't get it until November She was livid!!!!
At the least it seems confirmed I can pick it up. They charged me the stupid $7.99, gave me the right address, told me I'd need tracking number/government ID, etc. Just hoping I don't have to wait til mid-afternoon. First-first world problems, I know!
If the red iPhone 14 isn't showing up even with UPS reference tracking (which is the case for a few of us that are part of the "in limbo" group), best to keep an eye on this thread on Thursday when UPS begins sorting/scanning for distribution to regional hubs. We'll know that once people here begin seeing their notifications lighting up/additional tracking details populated, Apple Store status updated to shipping (and credit card charges go through from pending); if our phones are still not showing up in UPS' system after that, this is when I'll begin the process of following up with Apple.
Same boat ("in limbo") with nothing still showing up in UPS' system which makes it difficult to make any delivery changes or if a specific region allows pre-signing, to perform that (pre-signing: Apple seems to leave that up to UPS discretion at the local level).
As I mentioned above, if her phone doesn't show up in UPS' system once you see a lot of others here getting notifications on Thursday, that is probably when you may want to begin the process of checking with Apple.

Arrival to Kentucky might not happen until Tomorrow at least that’s how I remember it last year.
Sounds exactly like the poor driver who runs my route, too. I have a friend who delivers for UPS, he asked for vacation several months ago, for this week, not realizing this was iPhone week. I asked him if he’s happy he isn’t working iPhone day. He said something to the effect of “I got lucky without even realizing it. So many signatures. So many pissed off people wanting their iPhone right NOW.”
Expect "Arrival to Facility" Scans to hit sometime today. Scans are also delayed for our flight. We witnessed this yesterday from Korea to Anchorage, Alaska, and from Anchorage Alaska to Lousiville, Kentucky. They will appear today.

No one is cleared customs yet.
In the morning. Possibly early morning. Apple will be sending out notifications that your iPhone has been shipped and you can track it. Don't forget to let us know if you were part of wave 1 or wave 2.
