Honestly, If Apple had decided to send me my iPhone via USPS Postal Service. You bet I'm calling Apple and telling them to send it to me via UPS/FEDEX Even DHL. Nothing against Post Office, I love them. But, please do not deliver or mail my iPhone. No!
I got my green card, passport, all the immigration papers via postal service. Man that was tense :)

I live in the White Mountain National Forest. The postal service is beyond unreliable up here. The delivery people drive the mail around in their own personal cars and deliver mail in old street clothes. They are private contractors. I always choose UPS or FedEx if it is an option.

Folks! Expect to receive an email and tracking number assigned to your order from Apple tomorrow at around 8:00PST. Also, expect your status to change to "SHIPPED"

Last year I received a notification at 8:17 AM. You can see the time stamp below.

I've done the CC hold several times before and it was always available on delivery day (in the morning). Weird tangent on this topic: I called UPS to confirm that my hold for pickup is in place, and the customer service guy said it is, with pickup between 2-4 pm! (The CC opens at 8 a.m.) I'm pretty sure he was conflating my 2-hour delivery window for home delivery with the CC pick-up time. If it's really 2-4, I should have just let the driver bring it to me.
Another knowledgeable vendor, next. ;)

Excellent, thank you. So is that simultaneous with the Import Scan from UPS?

Same. My UPS drivers usually don’t show up until around 2-3 ish, sometimes later than that.

One year I saw the truck on the map was stopped at the local UPS store and he was cool with me going to him.. I hope it wasn’t weird and hopefully it saved him a stop
My ups driver came to my work today because my packages needed signatures and he knows my husband won’t hear him from the office. I let him know if he doesn’t mind he can drop my phone off at my work on Friday and he was totally cool with it. Our UPS driver is really awesome. Nothing beats living in a small town!

Is it the NH or ME side of the Mountain? But either way, you are up there and USPS is indeed unreliable there. I live in Southern NH but love the north country.
