Yep, Apple Store app still showing the 9/16 delivery that I was promised when I ordered. I'm not sure how to find the batch... just confused how I made it to Anchorage along with everyone else in wave 2 but then didn't get on the plane to Louisville! Any chance my phone IS in Louisville and they just missed scanning it?

The be on topic is nearing the home stretch. Tomorrow most everyone’s phones should be in the U.S. and going to state/ city UPS distribution center to be loaded on the truck. For us in-store people; stores should have our phones as early as this evening but for sure tomorrow.

I'm not sure how to find the batch... just confused how I made it to Anchorage along with everyone else in wave 2 but then didn't get on the plane to Louisville! Nope, just the arrival at 12:38am on 9/14. That's the last scan, nothing since then.

mychoice still doesn't show my package and I can only see its "on the way" with my phone number on ups.com as a reference number.

Do I have to pay for mychoice premium for packages to even show up?

No it's a weird thing with UPS this year, there's a bunch of folks like you here #4digitgang

I remember waiting for the iPhone 5s. I was the first one in line. The Apple store is inside the mall. I saw them setting up the new iPhone 5s. Next thing you know they called security and kicked me out. Told me I have to wait outside in the cold. It was so cold and I slept outside of the mall. The store looks like this. It's inside the mall.

I've also heard from many people you can't see in and out of the plane. There are no window seats with a new one. It's all marked up on white board. So people don't know where they are going. Also, cell phones are not allowed. It just gets weird and weird. Honestly!

Should be instant. You will receive an email tomorrow. But double-check by calling UPS just to make sure it's all good. You can also check that annoying Aftership app and see if it shows up there.

That's true and it really has. I see them fly in and out every single hour. They also operate on weird timings. My brother works for a Test site in Nevada and he won't tell me anything. He just ends it with he's being watched... I told him many times I'm his sister but he doesn't say anything back.

Also at the DOA, we don't even recognize them. I know we have a file here somewhere but no one seems to know where. Everything is on a hush-hush. Almost like it doesn't exist. it's just weird.

I went on a tour of the South Rim from Vegas and our driver spilled some tea about the daily flights that go to Area 51. He said everyone in Vegas knows about them coming and going and that it has been that way for years.

UPS is definitely broken. Had a package stuck on preparing for delivery since 8:41am. It just got delivered at 6:08pm. Wouldn’t be too worried about missing scans.

No, sorry. It has to be your iPhone. Otherwise, I would have ordered a clone from China and gotten @TheYayAreaLiving 🎗 to send me a new iPhone. Has to be an original Apple device.

I'd say yes, there is a definite chance that they missed the scan on your device.

If I upgrade next year though I am definitely doing shipping to my house. I got a feeling in store pick up is gonna be crazy Friday since I only have one Apple Store in my area now. The part of Virginia I live in is city like ( heavy populated). The other one closed because the mall it was in didn’t survive the pandemic shut downs.

All good. It was kinda my fault because I was watching them set up the demo devices. But It's an indoor mall. Where am i supposed to stay? so Forced to sleep outside in the parking lot. Had I known I would have brought a blanket but nope. They didn't care and locked the mall doors.

Last year, there were a bunch of smaller groups and multiple flights between each stop instead of two huge groups like there was this year. Last year, each arrival and departure scan had a group of people with the same time, and multiple other groups with different times. There was the 6:05 gang, the 9:20 gang, and a handful of us that ended up as the last stragglers in China. This year seems to have been much more streamlined.

Yes they really seem to have upped their logistics this year
