Ok I gotta question, why are some of you guys paying to hold your packages at your respective UPS depot? I get those who may not be home during the day or are out of town. But for the rest of you all what's the reason?

Once the iphone arrives in the city, holding it at the hub is the earliest way to get your iphone before they load them in the trucks, deliver to the UPS store and finally your house. The trucks leave the warehouse at 10am usually so it makes work for the overnight in the warehouse to sort out the packages being picked up at the warehouse, i.e the CC.

You can also do this with USPS and Fedex if you know where their warehouses are located but it’s free for them. Post offices are harder since it’s hard getting ahold of someone

I did that too. I followed the truck on follow the driver on their app because he was on the next street over from my house and then he left and went outside my area. And I tracked down his truck, gave him my iD and said can I have my phone. Hahaha. The look on his face was priceless.

I have done that with my series 6 haha!

@TheYayAreaLiving 🎗 do you remember if last year there was more than 2 waves for launch? Just curious if there is more/less/same as last year this year.

Last year, there were a bunch of smaller groups and multiple flights between each stop instead of two huge groups like there was this year. Last year, each arrival and departure scan had a group of people with the same time, and multiple other groups with different times. There was the 6:05 gang, the 9:20 gang, and a handful of us that ended up as the last stragglers in China. This year seems to have been much more streamlined.

If so I have 2 things coming on Friday even though Apple states 9/26-9/28😬😬😬😬
