I did that too. I followed the truck on follow the driver on their app because he was on the next street over from my house and then he left and went outside my area. And I tracked down his truck, gave him my iD and said can I have my phone. Hahaha. The look on his face was priceless.

Its a glitch that some of us are experiencing, even though all our UPS/iPhone info is correct. You just have to wait until Apple sends the "shipped" notifications tomorrow. Then you'll get the full tracking #, can add it to my choice and see what you can do.

Tomorrow I'm going to get gas for my trip on Friday. I plan to be at the CC right at 9AM. The CC is a 32 minute drive, but I'll enjoy every minute of it. When I get the iPhone home, I'll unpair my Apple Watch and then backup my 12 PM to iCloud and also to iTunes. My 12 PM already has an eSIM and I'm on T-Mobile, so we'll see how that transfer goes. I"m going to go with transfer using iCloud backup. I'm pretty sure that during the update, I will be required to update the new iPhone to the iOS 16 final build. I'm a developer, so those apps most probably will not transfer, but we'll see. If not, I'll have to recreate them on my new iPhone using Xcode. It should be simple to register the new iPhone with Xcode. If I don't like how the iCloud backup went, I'll erase the iPhone and restore from the iTunes backup. Then it's time to pair the watch with the phone and select the backup for that.

It was 2/3/4 waves but spread out. All of us arrived separately. A lot more activity in China. Lots of delayed scanning and people were stuck for days. We got lucky with early shipment and tracking this year.

I feel like last year was all over the place. no specific waves. There was also a lot of days spent in one location waiting for customs, Incheon, Chang Kai Shek, or just stuck at ZZ origin scan for days

Does anyone remember roughly from launches past what happens to those of us whose preorders didn’t make the launch day delivery?

Do the successive waves end up being processed fairly soon?

Asking mainly because I haven’t seen yet if anyone with a later estimated delivery date has had a status change from processing to Preparing for Shipment. Maybe it has already happened but I haven’t read every single post today.

hahaha! If anyone gets a new iPhone a day early. Please DM me. I will buy you a brand new iPhone 14 Pro Max (Color of your choice). LOL! That's not going to happen, haha!

Wondering the same thing. Still in processing with Sept. 28-Oct. 3rd and I ordered at :07/:08! :( Better experiences though AT&T every time before now.

What??? Go back and start at the beginning! j/k. To answer your question, Foxconn is sending those iPhones out just as soon as they fill those pallets. Somebody said a few pages back that Apple underpromises and overdelivers. Don't be surprised if later delivery dates start sliding sooner
