Nope. Wave 2B hasn’t even gotten an Arrival Scan in KY yet.

I wonder why it’s taking so long to show it arrived

You’ll be fine. One year my phone showed up on time and ups didn’t show it leaving china until a day after it was in my hand on launch day.

Yeah, it seems like mine didn’t leave china till Wednesday last year and it made it all the way to me on time. I think UPS employs actual vampires to help out….lol

Good morning! For anyone doubting that you’ll get your phone on launch day, I’ve been doing this every year since the iPhone 4 and UPS (some years FedEx) have ALWAYS delivered on time. My phone makes it from KY to SC just fine.

Also wouldn’t worry about missing scans. Received a package from UPS yesterday that never flipped to Out for Delivery.

ETA: all scans showed up after it was delivered. Overnighted from NY to SC.

Finally! I’ve been apart of the weird ups my choice glitch. Anytime I tried tracking with my phone # or order # it says details not yet available and it would kick me out of the app. Nice to see my actually tracking number with the info.

Lucky! I wish mine would work…oh well. We should all be getting tracking info today for those of us with 9/16 deliveries.

For the last however many preorders I've been going to the store to pick up. Unfortunately my order defaulted to shipping and is going to my mother in laws house, as hers is the address on ATT, which we tried to change it ages ago and after hours on the phone the change wouldn't go through. It's a mess! I like tracking with everyone here but the ease of picking up is just too good to pass up. I tried to do a UPS hold as well and the system wouldn't process it correctly. I'm just unlucky with all these different systems glitches that all lead up to one messed up order!

My husband and I have the same problem with AT&T! We can’t get them to remove our previous address and update to the current address for certain data fields in their records. So every time I set up a new iPhone I have to remember to manually erase the old address and enter my current address that we’ve had for the past 8 years that emergency services will be sent to if I ever make a 911 call.

But of course they have our correct billing address. At least I think they do. My husband pays online so I’m not sure.

In other snafus the last few preorders My Choice doesn’t work for me to give me my tracking information. My husband and I both tried to fix it all but nothing is showing up.

Maybe next year!

Thank you OP for setting this up because even though I’m not a part of the release day party I know what the experience is like when I got the 12 on launch day! This as with every year is a great read! I’m fascinated reading everyone’s differing experiences.

are apple store employees super strict about in store pick up times? I have two different times within two hours in the same day and was curious to show up for the first time and try to see if i could talk them into giving me the other phone since I’m MR. right there scenario lolol

That should be fine…those are more about keeping the number of people down and the processing time. You are basically “easier” since it is one person.
