That because in Apple's mind UPS is a "postal service", and 9/23 is really tomorrow. Don't worry - we've know these were coming UPS since like Monday with the first tracking came out. I am still amused that Apple finally fesses up to having shipped it - but won't give up on the 23rd...

Yeah, the app usually lags UPS actual status.I got my notification from the Apple Store app that my phone had shipped (which I obviously already knew thanks to the help of this thread) but it annoyingly still says delivery by Sept. 23 even though UPS says tomorrow. I'm confident it will come tomorrow, but that little nagging voice in the back of my head keeps trying to scare me

Looking up flights home there is a UPS flight scheduled from KY to NOLA in about 7 hours so itll be a long night of travel home per usual
Apple is still trolling me with Sep 23.

Gotta love Appleās commitment to that Sept 23rd Postal Service Delivery. At least the tracking link takes me to the correct UPS tracking number.

Thereās a pre sign option when you log into your apple account. I think your order needs to get to the shipped stage to see the presign option.
Yep. Import scan completed. Aftership saying itās on the way but think itās just the scan.
Should have a option on Apple order status page- that way you have to print out the form and sign it then stick to the front door- so when its delivered the driver will take the form with them
or if you have UPS my choice you can authorize release that way also

Wow. Reroute to ups store or others? I have never picked up other than UPS Store. Do they take signatures there or just grabbing and leaving, pretty much.

last time I picked up from a ups point they asked for a signature and it wasn't an expensive package.

Iām getting impatient now. I just want to have my phone. š© can we fast forward 24 hours? Even then Iāll still be waiting to get off work but at least Iāll be closer.
