I finally got it to load, but all it let me do was pick my specs and add it to Favorites. Not quite ready yet. They usually pop up a notification to your phone and send an email when its fully up and running.
And tell him that dynamic island. Something that Apple made me want to upgrade

Excited to be back for one of my favorite times of the year! Going for the Space Black 14 Pro Max 256GB, excited that they changed from the graphite.
I must admit that I got a bit concerned when they announced the 14 Plus for October (I'll be leaving for work at the end of September) and thought the Pro Max was gonna follow along, glad I was wrong. Here we go! Already got my leather midnight case and screen protector.

Anyone have any tips to ensure launch date delivery/in-store pick up? This is my first time pre-ordering an iPhone from apple! I am planning on getting the Space Black 14 PM 128 gb. I am going to do that pre-pre-ordering thing that apple will have ready later today and will be up right before 8 AM EST on Friday to be ready when pre-orders open. Aside from that, any tips??

Once our orders move to process we should start seeing some movement to 'Preparing For Shipment' over the weekend. This usually happens Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon (PST time).

Once this happens you should be able to get details on your phone and let the tracking begin!
Here are some notes to help track orders:
If your phone status has changed to "Shipped", you can view the invoice on the Apple site.
That invoice has the serial number on it.
Go to Apple.com, then pick the ORDERS page (the little "shopping bag" icon at the far right on the home page... go to your orders page). Now, login, find your iPhone order... and click on Print All Invoices to see your shiny new iPhone serial number.

When you see the time that your flight leaves China (make sure that the UPS or FedEx info is showing it per China time, or do the math), you can usually narrow it down
For those of you that are not familiar with doing this here's how you can check your order.
Go to UPS's website. Go to tracking. Go to track by reference number. Put the cell phone number associated with your order as the reference number. Put your ZIP Code. Put your country. Hit the track package button. If your phone has shipped it'll come up on UPS's website.
Our Main Goal is to hit the "Import Scan" from Louisville Kentucky. This is our last stopping point before we will say our final goodbyes until we all meet again next September 2023.
The story behind the famous "Import Scan" UPS: Long story short, This is a final approval scan that dictates your iPhone will arrive the next day, guaranteed!
According to UPS, The shipment has cleared import procedures in the receiving country.

Example: What our Tracking May Look Like?
This tracking below only applies to Las Vegas, Nevada. However, we will all be traveling together from (Zhengzhou, China to Lousiville, Kentucky, USA) until we see the "Import Scan" in Louisville, Kentucky. Keep in mind some of us may be left behind in China. It happens every year. (It happened to be last year and the year before). Hopefully, this won't be the case this year. After all, goes well, we will be separated to our final destination, and from there expect a final "Departure Scan" to hit your destination airport.

Am I mis-remembering how this works for IUP? Normally there is more than 2 days between keynote and preorder, so I worry this year will be different. Normally a few days after the keynote they usually let IUP customers confirm eligibility and select their phone in advance so it's just a couple taps to place the order.
However, this year the product page has so much IUP eligibility built into it, that I'm dubious they're going to do that this year and instead I'll be in the back of an uber copy-pasting my wife's serial number and last four of her IMEI hoping that the date doesn't start slipping.
Anyone else know more?

I’m downgrading my SS AW 7 to an Aluminum AW8. Some of the bands that I had were too light for the SS model.
Definitely getting the 14 PM in either SB or DP. I would like to see how deep that color of purple and black are, though.

My 13 Pro Max is paid off. Should I trade in with Apple to get $720 off or should I trade in with my carrier (T-Mobile) and get $1,000 off ($705 discount and $294 bill credits)?
It now says "come back later today to get ready for pre-order", so I think we will be able to do the iUP pre-pre-order later today.
