Are you going to order the new iPhone 14?

My heartbreaks have all been with ordering.

Last year I was caught out by the Apple Card debacle, even though I was on the iPhone Upgrade Program and had set everything up before the morning of ordering.

Previous years included my last purchase through AT&T (I'm now on T-Mobile) was canceled with no explanation and no turning back. Orders at that moment were backordered a month when I got the bad news. I ended up getting launch day phone at Best Buy that was not the color or storage I'd have preferred- found out later that they'd tacked on a $50 charge of some sort without mentioning it, but I did get it back when I asked them to price match to Apple's price.

I occasionally get the "we missed you" notifications when i was sitting in the room with an open window to the driveway. Part of why I now go to the CC to pick up my phone.

Have fun and good luck!
Thanks and wow you have had more than your share! I stopped the ups driver at the end of our dead end street as I rushed home and asked if I could get the package I was expecting, apologized for not being home. It was husband’s cancer meds shipped overnight, signature required, and he had left it on the porch claiming it did not need a signature. We went home got the box which was clearly marked all over it —temperature sensitive/ time sensitive /signature required.
Yep trust is earned ..or not. ;)

Departure scan and we're on our way out of Kentucky (though the flight to RDU doesn't leave for another hour or so). Hmmm. Anyway, my Pro Max is on the move again.

It’s been two years since my last pre-order but, weren’t we able to select a two hour delivery window previously? Or is that only premium subscriptions?

So what's the general view of having the phones delivered to a CVS and picking up from there? I'm tempted to do it since I won't get off work until 5 and chances are they will attempt delivery before then.
If you live near it then it might be worth it. I think in 2020 I had it delivered to Walgreens near my work, and It didn't get there until 7:30PM.

ETA: I watched the truck on the app drive all around the streets near Walgreens....I guess it was one of the last stops (maybe due to daily pickups?)
