Takeoff was late... scheduled for 4:01... actual was 4:25... scheduled landing in PHX is now 4:38 MST.

I’d imagine Rochester is flown into Syracuse. There is a 5:35P into Syracuse that you’re likely headed for.

But even a 5AM plane is enough time for UPS to get it delivered tomorrow.

looks like my garbage is on UPS2946. i saw the departure scan for 4:02PM around 1:40PM pacific time, so i just went to flightradar24 and started clicking planes headed west a few miles from the airport and found one headed for OAK that took off around 4:20PM. apparently a little late but UPS will have > 1 day to complete the last mile. you can do it UPS!!

@Rafterman I'm in Rochester and I see that our UPS plane is 5AM almost daily to Buffalo but my phone departed KY at 3:39pm. Not sure where it's headed yet, perhaps JFK or LaGuiardia. Is yours a 3:39 departure as well?

No departure. And there won't be one until 5AM. That's how UPS and Fedex work for stuff coming to Buffalo. As long as there are no delays, 5AM ensures same day delivery.

i used to work with this other engineer that would always describe his (and other people's code) as "garbage" generically. so he'd be like "we'll integrate your garbage with my garbage and skip the unit tests" and i kind of picked it up.
