3G iPad Arrives April 30th

I just contacted Apple and their customer svc. dept. stated that Apple has not yet made any announcements regarding the shipping date for the 3G Ipads on preorder, and that they were still aiming for "Late April" .

Custumer service reps go through meetings in the morning when hey get to work, and they are updated about new procedures, news, and how to field questions pertaining to new information announced by he company.

The news JUST came today, and it came after the start of business for many places. Plus APPLE CORPORATE is telling you that you will get it on time. The customer service reps most likely have not been informed (officially) of the news yet and will most likely hear of it tomorrow morning.

Don't stress over something that insignificant and leave those poor people alone! You don't have an account problem, your iPad hasn't blown up or been cancelled like some peoples, and it hasn't even shipped yet. It will come, but tormenting customer service staff that could be helping people who ACTUALLY need it is not going to make your iPad come faster.

This was the first time that I've actually called since my order was placed on 3/12. I simply wanted to confirm that my order was going to be delivered on the 4/30 because I have to make arrangements to be home on that day in order to sign for the package. Needless to say, I was a little taken aback, when he told me that he did not know anything about the 4/30 press release.
