3G is shipping on the 23

Back on topic...i would like it if the 23rd were true; however, the hard evidence just isn't there. I don't know why Apple just can't release the date. The whole secrecy thing gets annoying.

My current theory is that they forgot.

Apple Minion: "Hey Steve, people are asking when the 3G iPads will be shipping."
Steve: "Oh s**t, we never announced that date, did we? I totally forgot. I've been too distracted playing some of these sweet iPad games."

Yea, I could see that happening, although instead of "I totally forgot" it would more likely be "Who cares. I'm super rich already!"...and then the rest of it.

Ok, I see. I didn't even pay attention to the title. I figure when a date really is known, it'll propagate to all the prominent gadget sites (posted by the site owners or writers) -- and not be limited to one thread on MacRumors.

I went in to see an apple genius today because my Bluetooth doesn't work. They cleared my iPad and still couldnt get the keyboard to work. They will exchange it no problem.

I asked about 3G and she said, "they said late April, but it's going to be the first week in May."

bound with the recent post in the stock thread that store employees know nothing at all about what stock they're getting in or when because stock levels are automated. I'd say that cancels out both posts.
