Heard nothing since ordering on the 9th with confirmation email at 11:28 so rang them tonight and have said up to 2 weeks, have also been added to "the list" as I haven't received anything since then.

I was shocked to FINALLY get an email today regarding my iPhone 7 Plus 128gb Jet Black. My order is now complete and is set to be delivered on Friday 7th October. I pre-ordered it on the 9th September at around midday. Things are definitely looking up for everyone I reckon.

Anyone else in the same boat as me where they are able to upgrade having been in their Refresh contract over a year, however, are told they can't commence the upgrade until the model you want is in store. I'm getting the Black Plus 256GB. O2 are telling me I'll have to wait until probably the end of November! Furious.

At the very least I'd like to put my name on the list so when they're available I get my phone. Instead, the responsibility lies to me to call each store, everyday, to ask for a stock update.

Has anyone upgraded through Carphone Warehouse?

I never usually would but they're showing as having stock of the 7 Plus instead of having to wait until the end of Nov.

It''s a shambles and us refresh customers put to the end of the queue. I went to a store and reserved a handset but yes availability 30 November! & I was asked to pay a deposit! It is very strange that people can walk in EE or CWH and walk out with a handset yet o2 can do nothing! In the meanwhile they get 2 extra month payments for the old handset. O2 CS refuse to help.

I'm disappointed that this Refresh contract was sold as if it was an advantage to the loyal customer who tends to upgrade annually. I always did, but would sell my current phone using Environfone to pay off the current contract then start a new one. Every time I did this, I'd end up with at least £20 profit. I know not a lot, but my point in highlighting that is I knew that would cease with the Refresh contract, the ease of just trading in my current phone was an advantage I was willing to accept.

I'm now stuck with no options. Carphone Warehouse actually have my model in stock and advertise the fact you can upgrade with them even if your contract wasn't taken out with them. Called today, they can't touch the Refresh contract.

Basically, this Refresh contract is a joke! Been with O2 for over 12 years, usually on the most expensive consumer contract.

I totally understand there is a sortage of phones and I don't blame O2 for that, I know that's down to Apple. But how O2 have dealt with this Refresh contract, I'll be looking to move to Vodafone, where I get a 20% discount through my work.

It gets weirder. I was on that scheme and didnt trust the lack of detail from O2 before the launch so I sold my 6S+ and paid off my refresh befor ordering a 7+ on 9/9. My refresh on O2 date would have been 25/9 and I didnt want to be on the end of that queue.
My 7+ arrived last week. My O2 account says I can hand it back for a new model on 9/9/17 - a year from my order date. Because of the day my payments land I will have only paid 10 payments by then !
Ive printed and screen grabbed that page in case it mysteriously changes during the year.
Im still not sure I trust O2 not to stitch me up somehow though, so still might just sell the 7+ before launch date and pay off O2.

for those who want that jet black now now - go to www.istocknow.com - you will see they are in London stores - white city and convent garden - mine is on the way from Apple by flight so it would be way too complicated to cancel and go get these but others might find it easier ;0

Ugh, still waiting on a Jet Black 256 GB Plus ordered with O2 on the 11th here. Not heard a peep out of them either but they happily took my £180 up front fee...... getting miffed now, and I know it's not O2s fault but more down to Apple making a colour so hard to reliably manufacture.

Any Refresh contract customers heard anything more encouraging than the 30th November for in store availability of the Plus models?

No. I sent a complaint about lack of information and about the chat personnel lying. They offered me £20 credit for the lying bit but no help on delivery date. They couldn't even see my order as stores are somehow separate from the rest of the company. I called the shop and at first they could not even find my order but they called back and said they found it. But said they have no information about when stock will be delivered as o2 doesn't tell them. So we are in a limbo. The main o2 don't know (or say they don't) about store refresh orders and the stores have no access to distribution information. It is infuriating to be told end of November when I could have ordered online and be given much earlier delivery date.....But of course they did not allow refresh customers to order online. I would tell any potential o2 customer to not sign for the refresh deal unless you are happy to be placed at the end of the queue as o2 gives no priority to us as they make more money by making us wait as the monthly payments for the old handset continue past the offered 12 month period! It is a bit of a scam.

So they admit that the chat people lie!

Was on O2 contract. Sold my 6s for 400, had 275 remaining on my contract so paid that off and left with a nice £125 profit.

went for Apple upgrade program at £44 a month for a 128gb jet black 7 plus and got 10gb O2 sim only deal through retentions for £12 a month. Total cost is £56 a month with a free upgrade every year. Will never go with O2 refresh again unless apple stop the upgrade program.

I'm very close to doing this although I'll be at a loss this time. That doesn't bother me as I'll be free of a carrier when I want to upgrade.

O2 just havent done enough to pull me back into a 24 month contract. Plus it is more expensive to do so. I wouldn't be surprised if many people are doing the same thing.

Amazingly whilst o2 are not supplying shop orders you can walk to a second hand shop and buy an iPhone 7Plus locked to o2!

I'm in the same boat as others here. Forced to take out my Refresh Yearly Upgrade in-store, only to be quoted the 30th November for my 7 Plus to arrive, and can't choose a tariff until I physically pick up the phone.

I noticed online my model (Black/128Gb) is now saying 'Up to 2 weeks' as opposed to 'Up to over 6 weeks' - Went into an O2 store yesterday to ask if this meant I would be getting it soon...nope.

I was actually told it would be quicker to order it online now than wait for it to arrive in-store, however they looked stumped when I said the yearly upgrades had to be done in-store and not online?! So basically I'm back to square one and hoping I don't actually have to wait until the end of November. Absolute farce!
