Got it worked great

HOW TO JAILBREAK WITH PPGHOST:
Open the application, uncheck the button at the bottom, and hit the single button in the center.
More Chinese. 3 steps. I can't read Chinese, but it says Find My iPhone and TouchID in the steps. It's pretty much the same; turn off Find My iPhone and Touch ID. I personally just turned off my whole passcode and it worked.
Press the button on the right. The left is a cancel button.
A loading bar zooms across the screen. The process will take about 1-2 minutes.
Your phone will reboot, and done! Cydia appears on your screen!

Scratch that, after setting up my backup and rebooting my phone gets stucked on the apple logo boot screen :/ I've tried already 2 times and get the same results :/

Did you do a clean install? E.g - backed up your phone, restore iOS 8.1.2 and set up as new?

Mine worked like a charm. Just need to add sources manually, as i can't download any of my tweaks that i won't at this stage (including my favourite - FLUX!) - This was on an iPad Air 1.

The pp tool worked perfectly for me on my iPhone 6 and Air 2. Saved me having to go through the whole windows virtual method...

Is it worth updating to 8.1.2? I currently have 8.1

Is it even possible to update (by downloading the right ispw) and then JBing? Or am I out of luck if Apple is no longer signing 8.1.2

I found a download link to 8.1.2. I'm on 8.1 and am having lots of problems with my Jailbreak which I did when it was first released last year. My ApplePay doesn't work and I'm constantly having Springboard crashes. Sooo annoying. So I figured I'll just redo everything.

I keep getting that red error.

So far I have deleted my passcode, deleted my fingerprint, and put it into airplane mode.

I unchecked that box.

I even rebooted the phone to make sure everything has taken effect.

Still get that error!

Any more ideas??
