Alex, Skylum CEO, sent out an apology letter yesterday. He had planned to release a new dot release of Luminar this week. They found 4 major problems and have fixed 3 of them. He wants the 4th one fixed before the release. He said the release should happen by end of next week (22nd?).

At least now Skylum management is communicating something. That has not always been the case in the past.

I hope there is more than advertised in said dot release. Support for older DSLRs would be nice. Loupedeck support would be nice (they said they were "working on it at this very moment" last May). A checklist of "must have features in a DAM" is kind of a "must have." Alternatively, this revolutionary new workflow where those features aren't "must have" could be revealed.

Luminar specificities no keywords, or are you talking about Lightroom?

And how did you enable Loupdeck support? It works in Aurora, but not Luminar so far.

I am saying that I am more than OK with Luminar not doing the items in the bullet list. Other than the smart albums I have never used those capabilities in Lr for all these years. I doubt I would want to use Luminar to try to re edit images from my old Canon DSLR bodies. The only thing I would miss from Lr would be the smart albums.

But if those items are important to you. You should be pushing for them on the Skylum Community forum in the Feature Request area. https://community.skylum.com/hc/en-us/community/topics

Some of us can’t log in to request features because our login doesn’t work. Skylum admitted there are problems and promised to fix it but didn’t - 3 months ago!
