First time with an Action button and never used shortcuts - but is there any way to have it work BOTH silent and torch? Maybe normal click for silent and long click for Torch. Or single click for silent and double for torch or something?
This can be accomplished by setting up ACTIONS in a shortcut that instructs the Action Button to launch different functionalities based on the orientation of the phone.First time with an Action button and never used shortcuts - but is there any way to have it work BOTH silent and torch? You know I was thinking, Why couldn't the iPhone have both a silent switch AND a action button? It’s my silent switch, because Apple took that away and I used it a lot. Can’t really think what else I’d need that button to do in all honesty.
How is this set up?Like many others, mine opens up a folder and so far I really love it. Find myself using it frequently.
Yes there’s an Arrive function that you can specify an address and then link it to Open an app. I have it set up to open the MyQ garage door opener app when I arrive about 30 seconds from my house. Works great.I don't really understand the shortcuts and automation very well, I can make easy shortcuts and automations but I wonder if it's possible to make my phone set a focus when I have a calendar event? And is it possible to open an app when I'm at a location? Ping my phone when my aw is charged to 100%?
Have you tried using the back tap feature to open Control Center? That’s how I open mine and it’s completely changed how I use my phone.I've set it up to open control center. Surprisingly it is actually super useful - can do a whole lot more faster with one hand now
Oh, been out of touch a bit with the latest iOS features until I upgraded to 16P recently, but that's nice. Though you do need to unlock the screen first and it could be more finicky but need to test it some more. Thanks for the tipHave you tried using the back tap feature to open Control Center?
