Other After seeing pics, I regret getting Midnight Green. The more I see it in photos and videos, the more I ha*e it.

If it looked anything like what is shown on the Apple website then it would look dull and ugly. Instead it looks really cool in real life.

Return it. Pay the restocking fee. Lesson learned.
 
Shoulda gone with your gut. Just return it. The green also looks dull to me...borderline gray/space gray from what reviewers have been saying.

But does the space gray allow for others to see the three new cameras on the back better than the green to help indicate the OP has the latest phone? That's the motive and end goal here.

I mean...silver/white and gold would technically be the best for that. Anything darker obviously hides it which to some is actually appealing. I went with silver/white because I like the classic apple look.

That was my initial thought as well when I saw it during the keynote. But then the stupid Green hype kicked in, and it made me preorder it, which I now regret, hence this thread.

Understandable. I just don't like darker colors in general, but a midnight blue may have swayed me. Just return it and re-order. Hell, you can even sell the midnight green and make profit from what I have seen.

So, cancel your order - or return it when it arrives - and order the silver that you want. What would you prefer? A few extra days of waiting now or a year of regretting your choice?

And next time, learn the lesson and take the time to reflect on what you want. And if you’re not sure, then don’t pre-order. Wait for the unboxing videos or to see them in person and then choose. There was no hype about the green, you invented it in your head - a poll on this forum showing that more people wanted the green isn’t hype.

Media was abuzz with green envy and lust. I call that hype. Oct 8-15 is a rather long wait since I’ve already sold my old iPhone.

Why do you want the three cameras to stand out? It's function over form, which I have no problem with, but the camera arrangement honestly does look kind of ugly to me.

I would've just gone with Space Gray. Midnight blue would be tempting IMHO, but midnight green was an odd color choice to say the least. The darker Space Gray looks great however, and I wish it had been available when I got my current 6s Plus.
 
So we have the first MG regret thread!

It's not a big deal...you can always return it if it really doesn't thrill you.

Personally, I think the MG looks sorta good...not quite as good as the SG. But mere color doesn't move my buy meter.
 
I was doubtful as you and went back today, canceled the midnight green and went back with my all-time favorite space gray!
