Yep. Worked fine. I was even logged on at the same time on the Mac. I sent a message from the iPhone, exited AIM app, and the other party replied. I got the typical pop-up message and alert - just like getting a SMS.

They need to make it so that there's an easy way to sign off.
Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like I have to change the preferences from sign off immediately to sign off after X minutes every time I want to log in...

I thought of that too, but there's a button in the upper right that says "Sign Out". I'm guessing you can leave the "stay signed on for xxx" setting alone, and when you don't want to get notifications just manually sign out.

I wish there was a way to change it so that it only pushed new ims to me when I wasn't also signed in on my computer (or even better after I go idle) because getting an im twice all the time is going to be very annoying (once on my computer and once on my phone)

Ahh.
It's in the 'My Info' tab. Thanks. That's a lot less annoying.

Don't be logged in on your phone when you're at the computer then...

What are you trying?

Literally delete the app. Redownload it from the App Store. You now have push.

I did. Weird. It was telling me 2.1 or whatever was the current version when i went to re-download it, but i downloaded anyway and it was 3.0, ha.
