iPhone XR & iPad 12.9 Pro 2020 had this issue. Small bright dot on the phone after 8 months and a dime sized one on the iPad Pro i noticed after a week.

I’m worried about this. I ordered a air 3 and I use my current device (6 hours on average, maybe more) daily. My air 2 still looks new.

Although I do keep the brightness of my devices at like 20-35 percent and I don’t do anything intensive in terms of apps.

Just how widespread is this? Even after two years with AppleCare I do not want to deal with this particularly lol.

The only reason I’m not getting the air 4 right away is because of the headphone jack. I’m trying to get myself adjusted to not having one before I literally jump onto a device without one. To see if i can handle it.

White spots. Such an odd little issue

to me your display looks alright 👍
It’s fine.
Thanks for comments guys. I think I’m trying to find flaws too hard. Probably still even too early to tell since I’ve had this only couple of weeks.

Interesting. Maybe it is not just isolated issue with 10.5” Pro and Air 3? Just wondering why there is some much complaints about those and almost none from other models???

After owning a ton of Apple products from laptops, ipads and phones i can you tell you that Apple screens while they do look great they suffer from the most quality control issues i've ever seen. If you have a real good eye than finding the right one can be a nightmare.

I know what you mean. I'm one of those cursed ones with good eye on spotting faults in displays. Buying a TV or similar these days is utter nightmare for me due to crap quality they mostly are.

But I have also noticed that it is often much easier to get even and fault free display with some other brand devices like Asus Zenbook but downside is they are rarely that nicely calibrated or similar in specs.
