Just put an order in around 8:02pst... My hopes are high!
Edit 9:19pm PST: My order shows as shipped with a FedEx tracking number. I'd say just over an hour is pretty good when Apple is still quoting six weeks. Thanks Verizon!
Edit 9:25pm PST: The tracking number now works and already shows as being picked up in Memphis and set to deliver to Tahoe TOMORROW! Well under 24 hours for delivery. Whoa.

Thats sounds awesome. I am on the same boat but I havent got any update yet.

I ordered mine at 1:15 PT, got a confirmation email immediately but nothing else after that. Then I checked my Verizon acct at 6:30 tonight and it showed that my order shipped and is arriving Thurs! Weird that I never received the "shipped" email w tracking number but I'm not complaining. Also weird that they appear to STILL be in stock 9 hrs later... does this explain why no Verizon store I've been to has gotten any stock since 12/19? It's like VZN got their entire AirPod shipment today and put it all up on the site at once.
Received my order from VZW today. Ordered them yesterday at 1:25p PST with next day delivery. They arrived here in California at 11am. So awesome so far. Was amazed that VZW fulfilled my order so quickly. Ordered from Apple on December 13th and still have a January 30th Delivery date.
Awesome! Just got my order in today. Already shipped. I'm really surprised that Verizon is handling these orders so well. Much better than Apple least. It's almost as if Verizon has their own AirPod factory haha.
Where do these ship out from? Louisville?
Ordered from Verizon yesterday around 8 PM, shipped today from Memphis,TN and scheduled to arrive Friday but I believe it will arrive tomorrow.
Yeah that is very strange, I got mine today. Fully sealed everything as is to be expected.
Can you share us a picture ? I am expecting my package tomorrow, so I want to be sure if not perfect, that I can send it back.
I wish I would have taken a picture. Basically the FedEx was totally sealed didnt look like it was messed with at all. Opened it up and the airpod box was opened and the top was laying next to the bottom the cable was also laying there and the podcase didnt have its wrapping on it but the wrapping was there. Its like someone opened them up to check them out then just threw them in the box to ship out. I called Verizon and got the run around obviously since I am not a customer. In the end they said I could RMA them or go to a Corp Verizon store to return them. I hope this is an isolated case
Hmmm seems like a good sign. Most vendors don't charge until they have stock. Keep us posted, but I think I'll pull the trigger soon. Thanks again!
