For my BB order I paid w/credit card. Received a confirmation email just minutes later. For those who didn't get an email you could double check your order status on the BB site.

Nothing showing up. I bet it didn't get me in line. That would be my luck. Using Apple Pay it hit my account instantly though
 
I ordered a pair around noon today and it said I wouldn't get them until 2/7. I just checked and they have gone to preparing with expected delivery on 12/21.

5:30ish. The mall was packed but the Apple Store was okay, almost empty. If the store is busy, check in with the concierge since s/he establishes the queue.

The order that I placed this morning originally showed a delivery date of 2/7. Went to preparing earlier and just got the shipped email from Best Buy. Tracking number isn't in FedEx's system yet so I'm guessing that it will deliver on Wednesday.

Good call. Excited to show up at my Apple Store at 8AM tomorrow and see if they have any new stock.

I think I'm gonna try too. I went at 10AM today but they were well out as I didn't realize about the 8am holiday schedule, but told me to check back later for a potential reup. I was back in the area around 4PM but the mall was jam packed, and the store had me on hold for 35 minutes trying to see if they restocked, but eventually gave up not being able to enter the parking lot of the mall or get through on the line.

Brutal. Wish they just had an online inventory check or store reservation option like other products.

Wow, that's pretty unfortunate. It is a real pain that they don't have any way to check inventory or easily talk to someone in-store. I was at my store at 8:20AM this morning and they were already out! Demand for these is crazy high.
 
Does anyone know if Apple stores get multiple shipments throughout the day? I went to gmy local Apple Store this morning and they were sold out.

Then I saw someone post a message later this afternoon that they just purchased them from that same store.
 
I'm done playing cat and mouse. Ever since the announcement these things got delayed then to top it all off Apple fcuks some more with us by not even supplying any in stock at major stores even if they did it was 10 or so only to learn, fcuking scalpers got multiple sets just take look at Craigslist and eBay...

Reading about random stock refilling in some stores is bonkers, why wasn't this **** on the shelf when the store opened?!

I'm an Apple fan, it's fantastic to see their products high in demand but they absolutely need to start giving a **** about their dedicated customers who get out and line up in the cold wishing to get their products without having to wait around for "6 weeks".

Not even a media release acknowledging "hey guys thank you very much we'll get more in stores as soon as (date)"

My local Apple Store opens at 9 according to holiday schedule. So I'll shoot over there after i drop my wife off at 8am. I'll give it a shot.
