Ironically I went to my local store, Hillsdale, at 8:30 in the AM, prepping to wait in line for 10 AM launch. Turns out holiday hours - they opened at 8 AM. Dammit. Got my store opening info from Siri, who uses Yelp and didn't have the updated hours.
Same thing happened to me! Surprisingly, Apple Maps had the correct information, but Apple.com had 10am.
Did you get a pair?
I plan to head over to an Apple store in Scottsdale Quarter after work to see if they have it. Hoping they do, then I'll try Chandler/Gilbert as last resort. I'm hoping it's not as bad as it seems.

I knew about holiday hours from working at Apple retail, so I checked on Apple's site last night.

Indeed. Big family. That's why I went to four different stores. Didn't want to be "that guy" especially since people were waiting/hoping for re-ups for a while and stock is limited from what I saw.
I don't think those will sell, at least I hope they don't...
I don't understand why these scum buying several would risk an eBay sale anyways....
Mine were $174 after tax so after all the eBay, PayPal and shipping fees I'd have to take the risk of selling on eBay (chargebacks, scams ect) for such a small profit.. NO THNAKS!
I've seen a few on eBay go for $265'ish... Using that price, the seller will make about $48? Not worth the headache for a whopping $48 to me....
I sold a computer a few years ago on eBay and the dude was a scammer.. And not a very good one at that, luckily for me.. He filed a dispute before the computer was delivered claiming unauthorized use of his account. Luckily, I was able to recall the package before it was delivered. Had he been smart and waited to do it until after it was delivered, I might have been screwed...
Not all all worth the risk to make such little profit.. Some of those selling on eBay will get scammed and to me it's not worth it for such a small profit..

I was told from one rep that they expect steady re-ups of small stock in the next few days. The stores I visited seemed to get 2 or 3 re-ups today. Happy hunting!
Anybody had any luck to get them in north jersey? I called up my local apple store and they told me that they did not get anything. Interesting since that is a busy store...

Just FYI for anybody that wants to get the airpods this week. Bestbuy has them right now in stock. I just order mine and will be getting them this wednesday the 22th
