Last night they cancelled my order and refunded the charges.I asked for a 10% discount due to the delay and that came through quickly. However, their 10/4/22 email suggested shipping by 10/21/22 which is not going to happen.
When I sent yet another email this morning, the auto-reply email was adding now an additional 3 weeks to shipping. I will be gone on three weeks of driving and need a proper case for that trip since there are so many ways to misplace AirPods when on the open road in a variety of hotels.
In the meantime, their online add is still misleading as it implies that have cases on hand.
This was my ideal case so I appear to be out of luck at this point.
