Got it Friday. Always love the quality of Dbrand stuff but their shipping always sucks. Always slow to ship. Took 5 working days to ship. Anyway, I do like the case. I had the VRS case from Amazon and it was just too big and bulky. The dbrand is bigger than my incase woolenex case for my OG APP but not by a lot. The material is some of the best I have felt on a case. I would definitely recommend.
What is it like to remove this case?

Hmmm, for the money I'm rather disappointed with the finish on these to be honest. You can see obvious bubbling where the leather hasn't quite adhered to the material underneath, there are creases all over the place and the edge work is rather sloppy.
Is this assessment shared by Bellroy owners?

I'm a fan of the Woolenex AirPods cases by InCase, so I wrote to them earlier this week asking about the status of ANY cases for the AirPods Pro Gen 2 and when we could expect a release. This was their reply:

Hello,

Thank you very much for your interest in this product line. Sadly, at this time we do not have a firm release date. We hope to have these released as soon as possible and are working hard with our manufacturing team to see these released. For the most up to date information on product releases please keep an eye on our social media or sign up for our newsletter. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Truly,

So who knows. I've been using a cheap silicone case since the Gen 2 came out in anticipation of getting a Woolenex case, but might just bite the bullet and get a Bellboy case...

In regards to my previous post on this thread, Nomad now sells a APP2 case with holes for speaker and lanyard. I’ve received it a few days ago and even though it’s not 100% for the price asked, I’m still very satisfied and happy to finally have a decent case and can think about other stuff now. I was frustrated that I couldn’t find many specific cases for the APP2.

Damn, that's a bummer to read since I JUST got my 2nd get tonight. I was expecting Incase would already have a Woolenex case for the 2nd get by now. Time to scour this thread for other options then.

Got this as soon as I saw it for sale, it's arriving today. This is the same one I used on my 1st Gen Pro, and it's still going strong (gave them away with case and everything). Loved the material and how it feels in the hand, so had been waiting for the proper 2nd Gen release. It's my favorite of the AirPods cases. Will post pics when it arrives.

i am still using their for Gen 1 version, it fits but covers the Gen 2 external features, in any case i doesn’t bother me. Will wait for the official release for Gen 2

New to Airpods (pro, 2nd gen.), asking for a suggestion: If I use them for a short time, I would like to put them in a non-loading case (right now I leave them outside the case but I don't like it tooo much) to preserve battery and load them when they are around 20% of charge. Is it a wise behaviour or is it better to put them on their case every time we don't use them? Is there any option for a noncharging case or can I set up the standard case for this optimization? I read that optimized loading charges them to 80% and waits for my habits lo load the final 20%.

I just put them in the case after every use. Don't want to risk misplacing them or forgetting to charge them.
