Ordered Air Pods from Apple Uk on 12th Jan, waiting until March 6 for delivery

Does that sound right?

Winds me up they are sending deliveries to 3rd party stores before sorting there own deliveries out...

Not sure if this helps anyone out, but when I was in the Watford Apple Store earlier, they had AirPods in stock. They are out the back so you have to ask for them. They aren't out on display.

Just to warn everyone, if you happen to order from Currys, they deliver with DPD aka the worst delivery company ever. The driver failed to deliver two days in a row by not even ringing the bell and the second day I didn't even get a delivery time slot notification. I had to walk 2 miles to pick up from a pick up location in the end, but I have them now and they are amazing!

Did those that ordered from Amazon get theirs?

Ordered from Apple Jan12th, expected March6th - still waiting, tick tock...

So havingkept an eye on istocknow.com these last couple of days, I can only conclude that Germany & France seem to get stock on a regular basis but nada for the UK.
Can I blame Brexit ?

I had to go into Leicester this morning, so paid a quick visit to the Highcross Apple Store. They had a couple of pairs of AirPods in stock and I left the Store with a pair, feeling very fortunate indeed.

A combination of istocknow and insomnia sees me check my phone 5 mins after an alert

Currys have stock and are delivering to me Sunday!

Thanks istocknow

Additional istocknow beat the curry email by half an hour
I didn't even get the curry's email this time. I already have a pair of airpods but I haven't unsubscribed from the stock alert email yet.

John Lewis never seem to get anything. I've been signed up since before Christmas and I've never had a stock alert email.

Unfortunately I slept well last night and only just seen the alert.
Oh well good to hear there's been a delivery somewhere in the UK - been nothing for instore pick up at Apple stores all week apart from, very briefly, the two central London stores.

So last night I received further stock alerts, from istocknow, re Currys / PC World. This time I managed to place an order...however I then received 2 emails from them, simultaneously, one saying the order is being processed and the other stating that due to "unforeseen circumstances" they may not be able to deliver within the stated timescale (this Friday by standard delivery).

So basically it looks like they accepted more orders than they've got stock. Deep joy, knew I should have waited for Apple Store stock.

(Anyone else ever had a similar experience with Currys / PC World, I assume I should get the chance to cancel the order / refund ?? It just says on their email that I will be "contacted shortly")

Why not just call them?
