Quite a few stores had them today. Reserved two pairs at Liverpool and Trafford Centre. Will be cancelling one so keep checking.

Got lucky today. Queued outside Cribbs Causeway store in Bristol today for 9.30 opening, but they had none in stock. Had some Christmas shopping today and popped back in when I was on my way out to the car. They had just had a delivery 10 mins before I arrived, I think they had a delivery of 20 units, so picked one up.

Also managed to successfully reserve and pick up at Liverpool today. Went smoother today than yesterday!

Just picked mine up from John Lewis. Really impressed. Work flawlessly, paired flawlessly. Only had them one for about 30 mins, but worth the £160! Happy Xmas to me :)
Agree 100 percent.

Sound equality is great, they stay in, fit in my jeans small pocket and don't tangle!!!!
Pairing was easy. You still have to press connect in blue tooth menu when you swap devices though e.g. Iphone to iPad. Not a complaint, just saying

I thought you could use the pop-up menu to select AirPods on iOs devices. Just like you do when using airplay.

I ordered some today online; March 6th for home delivery!!

Really hoping they ship much, much sooner. Or I can find them in John Lewis (have signed-up for stock alerts).

Anyone managed to walk-in to a store and get lucky?

The Machookup service worked brilliantly for me and others, well worth checking out.

Placed my order today, "delivered by 17th March". Oh my this is going to be an intense wait.

Anyone had any experience of the "6 week" shipping being delivered earlier? (A man can dream).

£10 more than Apple, assume it's a third party seller?

Says Dispatched from and sold by Amazon.

Also used the thank you £10 code available a few days ago so same price as apple.

Although I have ordered via apple at the same time just in case

Have placed an order. That means I now have an order on Apple.com, CarPhone Warehouse and Amazon aha

Will either end up with 3 pairs or will be able to cancel in time.

Raining AirPods again.

We sent alerts for Currys also this morning, anyone got one there ?

How is it that I ordered about a month ago on Apples site and it states 6th March delivery date but yet Amazon can suddenly deliver them for 10th Feb? (Fulfilled by Amazon, not 3rd party seller). Doesn't make sense...

Almost feel like ordering them from Amazon then sending the Apple ones back to Amazon when I get them, prob being the SN's wouldn't match if I had an issue with the Apple ones. Do you think they would check/care?

p.s. I have to take them from Apple as I'm paying in instalments :(

Because apple are supplying multiple different supply chains concurrently?

x percentage will go to their online store
x percentage to their retail stores, of which there will be a split between pick up available and walk in
x percentage to third party distributors.

You can still buy them today and it says delivery Friday

You're buying via Apple finance?

Yes, well actually Paypal finance, thats the problem, so if I bought them from Amazon and returned the Apple ones 'when they eventually came' to Amazon still shrink-wrapped, Apple would have a different S/N on their records and Im guessing then no warranty? Is it worth it or just wait another month?

If I get mine on Friday then I'll be posting as such Friday.

The question is how much will you spend stewing about it until you get yours six weeks later : )
