While i have some bluetooth JBL's headphones and some Plugfones (which are primarily ear plugs 1st, then ear buds 2nd) i find that i want something that's easy, doesn't completely block out sound and quick in, quick out and just work ! To use while i cycle and work out, and when i'm in the office.

I guess i'm starting to lean towards Apple's own AirPods, except i really really do not like the look of them. I thought Apple got it right when the iPod originally came out, with the white earbuds, everyone loved the look of them. But not many people seem to be taking to the look of the AirPods. Myself included. I wish they were more popular so that they didn't standout so much and attract so much attention. (in a bad way) am i the only one feeling like this ?

I know you can get them pre-painted by a third party, but at what they already cost, i'm not really willing to pay any more.. Maybe not being white may help.

I dunno, is there anything as good and easy as the air pods that just work ? and don't look so goofy ?

Mine have replaced my regular headphones for everyday use. I am seeing more and more of them out in the wild so I don't think people are paying attention anymore. I don't think about them when I am wearing them. I sometimes have to check they are still there. I bought them for exercise as all others I tried didn't stay put.

I vote yay. I’ve used mine every day since I got them many months back. They just work so seamlessly, and the charger case is brilliant.

Sound quality is good for those not needing the high end experience.

I’d like to see them offered in black though.

The only way they look goofy is if they fit in a way where the mics stick outwards on an angle.

If they fit flush against your jaw, then they're fine.

Don't fret about how they look. Anything will look good on you if you wear them with confidence. They'll fulfil all of your needs now. Don't wait, buy...:D

AirPods are my favorite purchase when they debuted last December 2016. They are well-made, the battery life is exceptional, the features are very convenient with removing one AirPod to Pause the audio, double tapping to move forward or backward for a song, Siri works well for the most part.

They are compact enough to carry without being obtrusive and the charging it's easy enough to use with lightning.

I am interested in Airpods myself. However, I am not sure about spending 70 + dollars on them. I would use them on my iPhone 7 Plus.

Is there any alternative or another brand similar to Apple AirPods? I see similar products on Amazon and I don't know if they work as well as Apples or not. Those ones on Amazon are a little cheaper than AirPods.

I am all for Airpods either (yay).

Best ever BT (non-audiofile) earphones on market - period. I am using them all the time with Apple watch, iPhone, iPad and Macbook switching on the fly without any hiccups or issues.

Freaking awesome, small and portable. And they just work.

In NYC I see so many people with them that they are becoming commonplace. I mean they are all over the place. I've gotten so used to seeing them that they look like normal headphones and not goofy at all. I personally love them but unfortunately they don't stay in my ear so can't use them.

They don ‘t block out any noise whatsoever, if you are ok with that they are easy peasy to use. Just don’t lose them or the case, they are rather small.

I love them. I keep them in the office and pretty good for phone calls. But I have my BeatsX for working out and for the planes/subway though. They aren't great for blocking loud noise.

So true. Airpods are horrible in open office environments too.

I like my AirPods enough to keep them, but I have two pretty significant gripes. One is the fit— I was hoping they would fit me better than EarPods because some people have found that to be the case, but they don’t. I still wouldn’t mind if the case just had a little room in it so that I didn’t have to take the Earhooks on and off. Definitely not a killer, but seems like it shouldn’t be that hard for them to come up with a solution to make them more versatile.

Two is that I’m having a really annoying experience of them connecting to my iPad while they are still in the case. This happens ALL THE TIME. Sometimes it just seems to happen randomly, and it runs down the charge of my left one— that’s the one that connects out of the blue. Sometimes it happens when I start a video conference— about five or ten minutes in I’ll think I’m having a technical issue because I can’t hear the other person anymore, and I’ll realize that my iPad randomly decided to send audio to my AirPods in their case. I need to be careful and sometimes just turn the Bluetooth off on my ipad. Because it really doesn’t want to let go of the AirPods.

Airpods are in many ways superior, But I don't like the looks of the them either, so I bought B&O E8 instead.

I wish they would make freakin earbuds, I'd buy them in a heartbeat. Their design has too much noise leak both in and out. I don't like to disturb others with my music, and I prefer not to hear everything around me. Earbuds solve both of these issues for me in public places.

How are air pods superior?

They aren't in comfort, price, sound or durability.

They are easy peasy to use (connect/charge/battery life) a 5th grader would be able to use them. Nowadays I am sure a decent amount of them have an iPhone or iPad. :)

Actually they are in comfort very light and the fact that they don't go down in the ear canal saves on ear fatigue.
Actually in sound quality they offer great separation, good highs and mids they will stand up again most ear buds.
Durability, will last for years unless you step on them, there is a youtube of a guy dropping them from all levels with no damage including putting them through a washing cycle.
price... Well you get what you pay for, there is a lot of tech in such a small device, they are apple and they have virtually no competition, thus price is a bit high. But it depends on what you compare it to.

By the way you can tell I'm a Hugh Fan of the AirPods! You rarely see me without one in my ear blasting Trip Lee.

AirPods are a grand slam homerun - they're my favorite new tech device of the past five years. The two earpieces seem too tiny to house the technology needed to make them work so flawlessly. Without the wire dragging them down, they fit me far better than standard EarPods ever did. Even the charging case is a thing of beauty and amazingly pocketable. And perhaps most surprisingly, Apple has kept the price lower than all directly competing devices. AirPods are product design done right.

I wish it's available just for one ear and half the cost. I like to listen to music on one ear and listen to my sorroundings on the other end. Also, it looks more discreets at work with one earpod.

Strange bug.

Does your iPad still connect to your cased Airpods when the last device you used them with was your iPhone?

I'd think this may be a way of preventing this bug from happening, as you normally have to manually connect the Airpods to a new IOS device - it won't auto pair between devices.

Love my AirPods too. I use them much more than my wired headset, so tiny and practical. I often use a single AirPod at work as a headset.
They are a perfect fit, and with my big head and full beard they are barely visible if you are looking at me directly.
They are rising in popularity too.

I've recently decided to grow a beard myself, so I can understand what you mean there. It's a nice contrast between a dark beard & the white Airpods actually. :D

While it isn't half the cost, you can definitely use them one ear at a time. They play just fine if you only use one.
