Z is for Zinnia , being eaten by bugs ...
The person who started this has apparently disappeared (at least from this thread) so I guess we can decide among ourselves what we'd like to do moving forward.....
I certainly hope we don't go to doubles, like "aa". I don't have any pictures of aardvarks.
What about chains? So for example @someoldguy posted Zinnia ending in A so someone can post an image beginning with A let's say Apple then someone else can post something the next day starting with e.... we can chain from any image posted the day before.....
Would that work? I too am a little light on Aardvark pics.... so would find it Aard to play along

Good idea, but probably best to keep it simple and restart with the letter "A". The chain idea reminds me of the occasional issue and frustration with the Photo Association thread. By the time you retrieve the photo and ready to post, someone else has posted and totally changed the subject - or in this case, has a different last letter.What about chains? I join tizeye on that. Also taking the last letter of any image posted the day before would either open up to different people using different starting characters, unless they would be bound to their own last posted word (but then it becomes an individual series).
Even so the Alphabet Game was a nice idea, I think that we should end it and come up with a different idea.
However, as there is some dynamic here with many contributions we could actually go on with the numbers 0-9 (ok, thats not about the alphabet) - the time to develop a new idea.

Why not do the numbers 1-9 (not sure how to make an image of zero things...) so starting today, 1 of something in the image..... or the number 1, then we reset to A once we reach 9?

I can go with adding numbers from 1 to 9 ; but lets not get carried away and have it flow into Greek &or Cyrillic letters , Roman numerals , Mayan glyphs &c.
