Am I the only one that doesnt use a song for a ringtone?

After much searching for an unobtrusive ringtone that wouldn't drive my co-workers/fellow train passengers/the general public to attack me with baseball bats, I found the CTU ringtone to be my favourite so far.

That's what I use. At least in this day and age of everyone putting songs, funky sounds, etc. -- it stands out as unique!

LMAO. "Unique"?!? Are you high? Where do you live that within a mile radius you don't have at least 30 iPhones. That's why I always have a song, as entertaining as it is seeing everyone checking their phones when "Marimba" is playing, it's pretty odd...

I was inline to buy food at a store, and this guy let his ringtone go on for about 20-30 seconds just to see if anyone was paying attention


I'm a fan of the stock ringtones or the Codec from Metal Gear Solid

Yeah, I'm really crying for attention, since I want to distinguish who's calling me. Brilliant observation.

Just be sure you rename it something innocuous. Like DefaultiPhone.m4r.

I guess this is pretty much personal preference--some are annoyed at hearing a song--some by a simple ringtone. Since I spent most of my life listening to simple ringtones, I like having a song. I have several on my iPhone--all are Beatles songs--works for me.

My default ringtone.

If my volume is turned down low that's a soft background sound that's not annoying. I have a coworker with a normal "ring" sound and it's very obvious and attention grabbing. Not subtle at all and terrible for an office setting.
