Before Wraith.OEM cooler = free paper weight with each purchase.
AMD is working on a server / workstation multi cpu ver of rezen as well. Will they have higher end 1 cpu systems with ECC / more pci-e / more cores for 1 socket?Lately I have started to admire non-OEM coolers. Two best coolers that I use in my company are Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3 and Cryorig C1.
One more thing. It appears that there is a very good reason why highest end Ryzen CPU has only 499$ price tag. There will be one or two more, higher end CPUs in future. With higher price tag, and higher core clocks.
What do you think about possibility of 125W 4.0 GHz base clock CPU, with 8 cores and 16 threads?
I don't think so. As far as I know server 16C/32T Chip is 125W with 3.0 GHz base, 3.3 Turbo, at this moment. Nothing more about the core clocks, for this chip. There will be also 24 core, and 32 core versions of it, but with higher TDP.AMD is working on a server / workstation multi cpu ver of rezen as well. each die has 32 pci-e + 2 ram channels? One more thing about Naples:
Enjoy.
I have a bunch of them from over the last 20 years. I've spray painted them in metallic paint and clearcoated them. They are beautiful paperweights in every regard. I've got an old Zalman copper one that I turned into a paper weight.OEM cooler = free paper weight with each purchase.
They were, lately WhyCry has started to be more "reliable" than WTFTech.Isn't videocardz about as reliable a source as wfctech?

Nope, its not 1800X. Its 1700X . Its also worth noting, that AM4 motherboard, with B350 Chipset will cost as low as 69$.If it's true, it is indeed. I'm more blown away by the ZD3406BAM88F4, which I believe is the Ryzen 1800X. I believe the currency conversion from yuan to USD, and taking in mild discounts by retailers, is around $560, which is a steal compared to the 6950X by Intel. That's about a third of the price of what Intel charges.
I still can't wrap my head around how the processor is capable of realizing the cooling potential and go beyond what the Turbo Clock offers.
Ah. My bad then. I didn't realize the 'serial' was repeating itself. Is that for a bare bones basic mobo or something feature laden? I imagine the third parties like Gigabyte or Asus will sink their claws in and add a boatload of features.Nope, its not 1800X. Its 1700X . If you will be able to get MoBo + 6C/12T CPU for under 300$, that is even more mind blowing, than we have thought.
If this turn out to be true, this is possibly first proper execution of product launch AMD has done in recent decade.
WTFTech suggests that Asus B350 Prime-A will cost 69$. If they are correct(IF!), its a killer platform in terms of value. Prime brand from Asus, is not bad at all.Ah. My bad then. Though I'd think better cooling and power delivery would be a huge concern to get consumers the biggest bang for their buck.
I like hardware that breaks binary expectations.I like powers of 2, that's all. I guess I'm just picky.
