Why would an Apple system need SATA Express? The only systems Apple sells with SATA drives are the iMac and mac mini. I suspect those will be PCIe SSD only in the next revision.
What do ATX motherboards have to do with Apple?

If AMD will keep on selling FX for a while, will they re-release them with the AM4-compatible Wraith?

IPC is dependent on workload. Sometimes it will be on par with Ivy Bridge-E, but in 90% of workloads it will be on Broadwell level, or even, like in this case, higher.

There is even 8C/16T 1.8 GHz, mobile 45W TDP CPU in the wild ;).

If anyone wants to compare that 6 core CPU to the scores from broadwell-E, architecture, here are CPU-Z benchmarks in simple graph:
http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/core_i7_6950x_6900k_6850k_and_6800k_processor_review,9.html

So basically the IPC is higher than Broadwell-E.

Second thing: The AMD CPU in question is Ryzen 7 1500, with 65(!)W TDP, and it will cost around 229$.

6850K costs over 600$. That is actually mind boggling.

One more thing to factor:
6850K 6C/12T 3.6/4.0 Single Thread: 1835 pts/Multi - 10872
6900K 8C/16T 3.2/3.7 Single Thread: 1784 pts/Multi - 12980
Ryzen 7 Eng Sample 6C/12T 3.3/3.7 Single: 1888 pts/Multi - 12644

So it appears that SMT in Ryzen is better than actually Intel's implementation.

I do not know about you guys, but... Choo choo!

They say that this is 1800X.
8C/16T 3.6/4.0 GHz - 2185/17750
6950X 10C/20T 3.0/3.7- 1864/15907

As always, take this with GIGANTIC MOUNTAIN of salt.

I am reposting this, just for the record. Its just two more weeks...

The MoBo actually looks better than they were on photos. High quality stuff here.

What is more interesting is that the MoBo actually has SLI connector. Not bad.

It seems it only has one M.2 slot. Pass.
[doublepost=1487380091][/doublepost]I think there's none so far with 2x 22110.

Do not get me wrong. I always associated AMD with bad quality Motherboards, I have no idea why :p.

This one is very high quality. I am wondering what we will see in small-form factor X300 MoBo's.

I accepted buying a cheaper brand last time and some capacitors had to be replaced after one year.

That's not to say I did not have premium ones just burn previously, regardless of CPU vendor.
