I'm just curious if anyone is waiting for Apple to iron out the initial bugs. I'm going to wait til at least 11.1.
I tried iOS 11 and it just didn't seem polished enough for day to day use. A little bit of stuttering and rotation bugs.

I forgot to mention that the App Store kept crashing on me. Very annoying.

None here either, if version 10 works for a person then they should stay with it I suppose if bugs directly effect them for iOS 11.

There are weird issues occasionally but 11 is such a step up in functionality that I’m happy to put up with the occasional stutter or minor glitch

Thats how i feel with my 12.9 gen 2 too

11.0 on iPad Pro has been quite nice imo

Haven't noticed any 11.x bugs. The notes app for me is worth it. Document scanning and inline drawing = i've ditched oneNote.

Also bear in mind that 11 has a bunch of security updates that are not in 10.x

In iOS 10 there were 2 columns. In iOS 11 there is 1. Apple did not specify that it was a deliberate change from 2 to 1, therefore it is reasonable to conclude that it is a bug.

What was it like in the betas? I believe it was only 1 but I’m not positive.
Still I doesn’t seem like a reason not to upgrade unless you really really need your widgets organised that way.

I was simply responding to your "no bugs noted on my 10.5". Just because YOU didn't experience any bugs doesn't mean that bugs don't exist. I'm not denying that you are not experiencing any bugs, but clearly there is at least 1 bug that you are experiencing but didn't realize it is a bug.

The widget layout is only one bug... and clearly not the most important. Stop by the iOS 11 sub-forum to see what others are experiencing.

Considering that there is no going back to iOS 10 once Apple stops signing it, I think it is helpful to recommend caution. But I'm odd like that. :)

No, sadly, it’s not a bug. They may bring 2 columns back later, but it seems they decided to rework certain things in the lock screen and unified it across devices deliberately. I read that somewhere, can’t remember where - but it’s most likely not a bug.

Besides, if it was a bug, it’s so easy to spot, they would’ve fixed it by now.

iOS 11 is so much better than 10 on the iPad that I would run it even if there were as many bugs as there was on beta 1. Thankfuly, the final version is quite fine for x.0 release. Sure there are bugs, but nothing major (as a matter of fact, iOS 10 still has bugs too). On iPad Pros it seems to run fine, so I don’t think there’s much to be gained by waiting for 11.1

New iPads were practically made with iOS 11 in mind. I recommend everyone upgrading their iPads, but that’s just me.

Yeah I'm probably keeping my 10.5 Pro and my 7+ on iOS 10 until 11.2 or so. I use my iPad for almost everything, so I'll wait for Apple to iron everything out. I used to do the same with OS X when I had Macs, waited until the .3 version.

And I still haven’t noted any bugs. The only bug you have told me about is a design choice and not a bug.
I specifically said no bugs noted rather than no bugs present.
I’m not sure what your point is.

I'm on iOS 11, with my 10.5, and tbh, I'm very pleased with the stability and performance.

I would imagine the iPad pros will be the most refined iOS 11 experience of any devices

More public testing time/iPad centric features

Been running 11.0 since beta ( what is that, 4 months now ), no issues. Now running 11.1, no issues.

iOS 11 is running great on my 10.5. The only "minor" issue I've run into is battery life; it seems a bit less than with iOS 10.x installed. But I'm sure that will go away with refinements. Loving it so far and have no plans to go back.

Sitting tight with iOS 10.3.3 on my 10.5 iPad Pro. Most of iOS 11 new features won't fundamentally change the way I use my iPad so I'd rather have a stable and fast OS than dealing with bugs and glitches. So I'm waiting for iOS 11.2 or 11.3. Same thing applies to my iPhone SE and Watch
