Thanks guys for your replies.
Called back the next day and got to a representative that must have been in a better mood. Offered me another plan that seemed doable.
I was just very aggravated that I was misinformed by few people from their company. But such is life. Lesson learned, next time I'm asking them to email it to me.

mark my words one day that wordy SHARE DATA will hunt you, ATT is not to trust

I am already with Verizon. Like I originally said.

Agreed. And I can promise that 22gb, AT&T will just put a full throttle on it for everyone. And just say all the towers are congested. That is how they are. I left them after 20 years.
Except that doesn't seem to be something that has been happening to people.

Got today an E Mail from my Xfinity (Comcast) account that they are coming with new service and I can be the first group to get the Xfinity mobil LTE so I going to wait a bounded of my TV and Internet plus mobil may be interesting

I can see how you and ATT could have a misunderstanding for sure.

You are right got my 2sd bill today after I switched to this new SHARING data so 4 line " $45 each what I was quoted on @/2017 went to $195 minus 20% plus taxes to $261 more what I paid on my grand father unlimited.
now you tell me what wrong with me,
its look like I am moving

I had the same issue with my switch - online it told me the FAN was applied and showed me the total with the % discount. I only noticed afterwards that they were declined. But the system at the store and online allowed FAN users to apply/transfer their discounts to the new Unlimited Plans.

I feel though they should have just allowed those switchers to keep the FAN discount and block it for future traffic...

But as said above that was not the case - and there was ZERO answers or accountability other than...well it doesn't work. Bye.

Then making the switch back to the 20g rollover plan which is $60 cheaper. Making the unlimited plan...kinda stupid.

Read the Xfinity contract carefully.

Yeah ^ it looks as if it may piggy back from Verizon, and use Xfinity neighborhood/business wireless to allow wifi data use and not all over LTE. its an interesting idea. Not much information is out yet though.

Our Community got this Xfinity public WIFI service that is pretty darn strong with a wide range...that could be the eventual goal.

Probably not what you're looking for but we just switched to Cricket. Owned by AT&T and uses AT&T towers. We went from sharing 20GB across three lines for $138 to one unlimited line and two lines with 3GB each for $110. They have generous discounts for adding more lines. If we get two more people on our plan our portion will drop from $110 to $80. Been pretty happy with it the week or so we've had it.

I was with AT&T for about 10 years, constantly felt like I was paying too much even though there were no better deals out there. Really didn't like that 20% of my bill was "taxes and fees." Same reason I left Comcast. I can't stand when they advertise one low price and then nail you with taxes, fees, and equipment costs.

No, AT&T's website did not allow people to apply/transfer FAN discounts to the new unlimited plans. This was a common misconception that people had because when they look at their AT&T accounts online, it shows their FAN eligibility in the top-right corner. People thought that meant that the FAN discount was automatically going to apply to the new unlimited plans, but they were incorrect. Yes, their account qualified for a FAN discount due to their employment or whatever else, but the FAN does not apply to every single plan available to them (namely, the new unlimited plans).

It did for me, showed me updated savings with fan discount. I proceeded.

if the next bill not going to be as they promised than I am rooting back to my old plain

I was hit with some charges as well that the were supposed submit for a credit - spoke with loyalty and even had a reference code. few months later now and they are still there and when calling they said there are no notes. LOL.

Strange things happen with att...you just have to record everything, including conversations.

This isnt true. It is 22gb PER LINE before THAT LINE may be throttled, not 22gb overall. You have said this multiple times in this thread and its just not true.

This is clearly stated in the terms and conditions of the plan:
"Data restrictions: After 22GB of any data use on a device in a bill period, we may slow the data on that device during periods of network congestion for the remainder of that period."

After being lied to by more than 10 reps about getting to keep my FAN on the new plan (have emails, chat transcripts and notations on my account) I contacted the President's office. They apologized and said we can't give you the FAN but gave me a $200 credit which amounts to one year of the FAN.

OP contact via here: https://www.att.com/gen/investor-relations?pid=27794

I got a phone call within a few hours. I know it says investor relations but its customer relations as a whole.

I think you are on a different plan than you think you are. The new unlimited plus is $125 + $20 per line. Minus $10 for autopsy discount. 4 lines is $205 + tax minus any discount.

Also stop spreading false information about the 22GB shared before throttling. It's 22GB per line on the plan. I can personally verify this. Went to 20GB on one device, got the text. Other two were at 10GB each. No text. Total data consumed 40GB.

Where do you see the word "Share" on the new unlimited plans? The first line in the fine print states:

"AT&T Unlimited Choice & Plus Plans: For consumers only. Plan includes unlimited talk, text, data, and the Roam North America feature."

The plan didn't come out till 3/2/17. So like I said. Not the same plan.

He isn't looking at the right plan. Look at his dates.

Ok, so if he signed up on 2/17/17, that was the day they released the original unlimited data plan that I am currently on. It was $60 (which you could apply the FAN discount too) and then $40 per line. If you have 4 lines, they waived the last $40 fee.

My bill with 4 lines comes too $168.60 before device pmts and taxes/fees. Seems he is confused about what plan he actually has.

No all my iPhones are factory unlocked bought from the Apple store no contract with ATT

Check into the latest unlimited plan offerings. Even if you pick the Unlimited Plus plan, your bill for 4 off-contract smartphones will be substantially less than $261/month.

I know it should be $195 minus 20% that was canceled pus tax and money fees?
but I was charged $67 service charge because I switch plain but what does it matter ATT does what ever they want I gave up
