I just got the 3gs (came today)... couldnt wait any longer.

anyway, i bought a speck candyshell and it isnt coming for another 5 days (i know, strong wtf on amazon shipping).

Kinda don't even want to use the phone lol

how would you respond?

Nah it was fine without a case for a couple of days but usually I have a case before I have the phone.

Honestly? Get over it. It's a phone at the end of the day, I haven't had a case on any Apply product in the last 6 years and it's fine.

Sometimes...It's like I'm paranoid, looking over my back. It's like a whirlwind inside of head; it's like I can't stop the feelin within; it's like the pain inside, is right beneath my skin.

(Sorry)

Yeah, I would get paranoid but In The End, it's just a phone. Replaceable.

I don't use a case on my 3GS anymore but I did reapply a screen protector. I noticed a few scratches on the screen. Not cool with that.

Nope. I never used a case for any phone... I like my phone naked :p

I once bought a case, just for fun.. because it looked good, and returned it within 2 days.

You have a really good reason to be paranoid.
Don't use it without a case.

Scratches super-easily (on the back)
And if you crack the screen it could cost up to about 200$ to fix it.

If you think your pocket is really soft and you won't drop it at all then do what you think you should.

Well, scratches on the white iPhone aren't as noticable as they are on the black iPhone. The Apple logo, and anything with chrome on it scratches very easily. I have the same case you ordered. Before you put it on, you might want to buy bodyguardz, considering the fact that the case scratches the bezel. Otherwise its a good case. I have the blue case by iFrogz or whatever the company name is. Its nice and stylish, and I haven't had any problems with it. Also note that when you put the phone in your pocket without a case, it does leave some scuff marks, and put a scratch on my Apple logo. I didn't really care since I knew I was sending it back to get a 32gb, which I have now. :D

I do get Paranoid when using the iPhone naked. So I used a case to protect it. It's a really nice phone, I simply don't want it to get scratched.

Even though it does feel great in you're hands with nothing on it. I have though twice about getting the zagg invisible shield put on it all around it. There is this place at the mall a little kiosk that installs them, they do a good job also I remember getting one of my older phones done. It gives you the 'naked' feeling but it is protected still.

The way I look at it is - Apple goes to a lot of trouble to design a sleek looking phone. Why make it uber-chunky with a case?
I have just a protective film applied to the back to keep that from scratching. That's it. Nothing on the front glass.
I've had the 3GS since it first came out and it still looks brand new!

I use a case for my phone because I have literally thrown the phone on the ground and the case protected it from any blemishes.

I had a case on it for the past few months but I just took it off and don't care anymore. Feels better with out it.

I used a case since new in June, took the case off for a couple of weeks, decided to get a Wrapsol skin, now its perfect, no scratching, I like it.

yea I didn't use my phone for 2 weeks cause I had to wait for the film and case, I wrapped the whole phone and put that mug in a case

My 3Gs has taken a fair beating. Should've treated it better but oh well, it's just a phone. Normally I do have a case on it but was unable to locate my BSE.

I'm possibly one of the most clumsy people on the planet. The mere thought of going without a case on my investment makes me uneasy. I'm also pretty anal, so if it got any sort of major blemish, it would bother me even if it were hidden under a case.

To me, the slight added bulk (there are plenty of cases out there that add almost no bulk to it) is WELL worth protecting my investment. It may be "just a phone at the end of the day," but I paid good money for it and I'm going to do what I can to protect it & prolong it's life.

I dropped my phone on the first day. Been using a case most of the time ever since.. not really to protect it but to hide all the scratches/dings from the fall. :D

I know we all want to treat our phones well and keep them as nice as possible but you're bound to get scratches and dings on a device you carry around with you every single day. Once you finally get a couple scratches on the case, you'll treat it like a regular phone and not like a new born baby.
