Aren't I glad

That I had my case on today. For the past 2-3 days I've been using it naked since it felt so much better I like the naked feel of an iPhone. But this morning I put my case back on because it starte to get to slippery in my hands since I put lotion on my hands after I wash my hands and I wash my hand quiet a bit during the day. I didn't want to drop my iPhone that I haven't dropped naked yet with lotiony hands. So since the case is on I dropped it about 3 times today.

I rarely have this happen, glad I had my Case on. So I am very anal about my phone not having a case now. I'll probably always have one on my iPhones depending on if we get an aluminum backing or something p
like the 1st gen.

Maybe you dropped it because you had the case on.

Never used a case. Will never use one.

A company goes into great efforts to design something awesome and you want to wrap it in a case?

No, thanks.

I would always use a case, it does hide the nice look of the phone but unless you can shell out some $$ for repairs its not worth it. My wife had a 40.00 at&t hard sided case and her phone came flying out of her pocket and must have hit our tile floor in just the right way because the screen shattered. However i was in hershey, pa and someone was asking me about my iphone and was scared to get one because he heard they break easily. I just looked at him and dropped mine on the concrete floor and nothing happened to it. i use a dlo case which has extra rubber on all the corners. only case i've ever had and i've dropped my phone numerous times and never had an issue.

I hate cases but I also don't like how the iPhone is so cosmetically fragile (susceptible to scratches and the like). So I'm damned either way! :)

The conclusion I drew was that you are careless and clumsy when you have a case on. :D

Economists, insurance experts, and psychologists have known for a while that if you make cars safer (for example with ABS and airbags), drivers become more careless. It's probably subconscious but it's a well-studied effect. I'd not be surprised if the same applies to phones with cases.

Exactly, just exercise the same level of care with or without the case.

Not really. Well maybe. Since when it's off I tend to try to handle it with more care so I try to be light with my hands. Sometimes that's not always good. That's when I drop it from trying to be so careful.
