Anybody Playing My Town 2?

Could I please get franchised?? I'm trying to buy all the 'hot new stuff' or the ones that cost bucks lol. My id is 36931490 will send daily gifts. Usually send pop. Please help a girl out! Got to level 50 now just wanna by all the cool stuff!! please and thank you!!!
 
Bad news

Very bad news for those starting out and trying to stack Stock Exchanges. Booyah has taken the SE out of the game!

That is terrible news. I know that I couldn't have managed to accumulate gold without that on my Iphone Town. I was waiting to get a bit more cash on my Ipad town to buy some more... I suppose that puts paid to that ! Pity I can't transfer them over from one to the other ! :rolleyes:

On another note - Can I please ask the advise from you more experienced MyTowners.

1. I want to start culling my businesses (I just bought at whim when I first started not knowing strategies on location etc and not knowing about this forum). This is on my Iphone Town. Do I just look at the stats and delete the ones that have the least amount of popularity ? Does this make sense ?

I can't believe I am seriously so into this game I am talking strategies ! LOL

I guess booyah gets greedy ;) and with all these "Get 1.5 or 2x more coins/bucks" now, they want to ensure that people actually spend money.

Besides that, did you all realize that Booyah labeled now normal things such as Taxi Stand, Lunau, Zen Garden, Pink and Yellow Victorian House, Ice Cream Truck, White Flowerbed, and almost all Flags as "Limited"?

Considering that they still have the same price it's either a mistake, or they actually want to offer them only occasionally from now on.

Regarding the Stock Exchange, it's was the wrong move from them. They should've either raised the priced of the SE or decrease the %. But not completely get rid of them.

WOW!!! What luck for me...I built almost 20 of those a few days back.

Thank you to all of those who have franchised me: Val, candyland, and Katie.

I really appreciate the help Because of your help I was able to buy the Great Pyramids. Now I'm saving up for Mt. Fuji. It's going to take a while, but if you guys keep helping, I'm sure I'll get there eventually.

Thanks I tried what you said and finally was able to change my location to NY to get some popular bussiness' for coins!!
Now I need more population!!

If you guys could franchise some more please so I can buy some hot air ballons to get my population up I would really appreciate!! Thanks to Val, candyland & pekman!!!

Yea! Happy it worked for you. Population is on the way. You may benefit from people franchising with coins as well as dollars so you can buy more community features that increase your population. Intergalactic space stations can be stacked to increase your population also.

Valmorra,

So appreciate all your input. It seems that Booyah really is not interested the long term engagement of their players.
The newest changes that you mentioned combined with:
Lack of opportunity for expansion
Lack of response to emails when the game crashes and bucks or coins are lost
Topping out at Level 50 within weeks of starting the game
Maxing out population - why bother when there is little left to do?
Limiting number of businesses bought
Lack of response when "Free" offers don't award the bucks

I am sure we could go on. I can understand that they want to make money. I sent them suggestions that might support their business as well as further engage players.

If they DIS enough of their followers it will create a perfect opening for a copycat game that thinks through these issues of engagement.

This forum does more for engagement than anything they are putting out.

Thanks, Val, for making this game so fun for me. I enjoy the interaction and have since before I discovered that you were here on this forum. You are such a contributor to this community. Booyah should pay you to play their game!!!!!!!

Oh no! I sold several exchanges yesterday thinking that I could replace them later if need be. Geez! I can't believe they can't anticipate the backlash from this!!!!:(

Perhaps it is time to start a 12-step program for MyTown2 Addicts. I can be a charter member. :eek:

The upside: I might actually get my house cleaned this weekend! LOL:D

Question

Ok. So I am wondering if anyone can help me.
If I franchise someone else's business with bucks does that mean every 3 min I will receive bucks? Or just coins? Please let me know.

Hell to everyone who plays this pretty addictive game!

I have read many tips here and now after I accidentally upgraded three of my business from 8th to 9th level in one week I decided to ask for some help. Please, if you have too much coins and if you want to feel yourself as Mother Teresa, could you franchise some of my business? I have few business which have high popularity and may have your attention. I would highly appreciate any help you could give to me and pay back by giving gifts!
