Anybody Playing My Town 2?

How do i change where my location is. I got to chose one time and i said new york but now i want to chose like sanfrancisco. Any ideas.

Also please franchise my depleting bucks and coins. :) 30230386
 
Anybody else upload the new update yet? Checking in and viewing businesses is much easier...they also added some tips that pop up, probably good info for the beginner. Other than those two new features I don't see any other changes.

Thanks again to all that have helped me so much through franchising. Melzzzy, Splat, Snibull, ENJOY and others. You guys are the best!:D
 
I'm going to wait to update given the disaster last time! Any feedback on tricks that don't work is appreciated. Does the time zone trick still work after update.

Anyone experiencing the same problem as me? I used the airplane mode to franchise a few of booyah's business for many days and the popularity is still very low compared to the ones in booyah. Is the a general problem with the popularity issue?????

I'm looking for your help by franchising my businesses and there are 10 business with more than 3000 popularity. :)

I hope youll franchise so i can earn, let's say 10000 bucks so I can buy Disneyland business and some other community buildings. :)

The limit you will get for a franchise is 50 bucks so it will be a really long time before you see 10k - it's much better to change your location to LA then explore your current location and franchise Disney that way. It will only cost you coins.

Still, any advice on what to do to make the best use of space? Maximum population? What should be bought?

Just updated to the new version. I like the check in feature. However when the corn appeared and I went to the fields to tap and collect, the arrows were not in the right place and no matter where I tapped in the area it did not action and drop the coins.

Anyone else had problems?

Need some inspiration folk.

I have now reached maximum population and therefore maximum businesses (I assume). I have used a few tricks and bucks from helpful folk to get some great businesses and guess I can upgrade the remaining ones. I have also bought all the land.

I need some new goals - any ideas on what I can do next to keep it interesting?

I got to that stage last week and so decided to get the premium skins for most of my businesses.

I went to complain to booyah about once again another update with no extra expansions also sick and tired of the slot machine given out shut even on the free spins and to be fair have just used 400 bucks on slot machine and still not won one of the new bonuses
But guess what the update has took the tab on the booyah bit of the game away.
 
Cool they transferred it onto my iPad. If anyone wants some high level businesses go ahead and franchise my offices, not enterprises. :cool:

I have a jailbroken iPod and I used iFile to give me unlimited bucks. I will franchise ALL your businesses (giving you many many bucks) if you do something small for me.

I only ask that you download the app "app trailers" and put monarchy in as the bonus code. App trailers is free and an app that I have made over $150 on. Hey, you can too! After you get the app the second or third option on the first page should be "bonus code" or something similar. Tap it and put in monarchy. I will get an email after you do it. Friend me on game center username: mon4rchy. After that happens I will, as quickly as possible franchise all your businesses unless specified in your game center request message.

I updated and lost my whole town and cash u are forced to update I was anyways so I did then lost everything oh well hack still works using ifile tho gave myself 9,999,999,999 bucks and coins

I checked your towns population which was around 1.04M. Mine is at 6.5M so I think it's safe to say you're not at the maximum yet;):D...I do believe that 36 is the maximum number of businesses you can get though no matter how high your pop.

My population meter just says max now so can keep adding pop but doesn't give any further benefit if doesn't give you extra businesses. I am clearing out duplicates and upgrading my houses to the high end ones now.

Maybe I just need to wait til next big expansion.

Anyone downloaded update yet. Is it stable and recommended to do it now? Was hoping for something a bit more dramatic but guess it takes a lot of work to do major upgrades.

I updated mine. I don't see any negatives to it. The only real difference I see is that it's easier to check in on businesses and "tips" pop up now and again. Don't blame me though if you don't like it!;)

Here's the new check in screen. You can check in on a business by tapping it and then tapping check in instead of having to going to the check in icon on the lower left of the home screen and scrolling through them(you can still do it that way if you want to though)When you add a new job the 4 different times(3,15,1hr,3hrs) are arraigned in a square instead of in a row...

Sweet. I've been playing for over 6 months and if you wanna franchise and share some bucks that's cool with me. Once you see my town you'll see im not one to jail break my phone, been playing an honest game, tho tempting, but I sure wouldn't mind some bucks to level my businesses to 10. I just don't wanna spoil the fun and I think knowin me, If I had that many bucks, I'd loose interest. But have fun sharing your wealth!!:) can't wait to check your town out!

Anyone else use mytown on their iPad and iPhone and have the same town? Seems the iPhone doesn't update whenever I do thing on the iPad. For instance, I bought a chunk of land and built a skate park, and when I looked on my iPhone it didn't show I did that. I even tried restarted the iPhone so it would update but it didn't. Seems like they need to fix that. Anyone else experience this too?
 
OMG what the hell happened I know after the update they fixed all the popularity issues, and I had Quick which was still the highest at 123,000
I just checked it now and it's at 1300!! Seriously???
Anyone know what happend?

don't worry from what it sounds like the popularity monster has hit quick 5 times.... it will be back up in a couple of weeks.... it always does
