Anybody Playing My Town 2?

spin bug

looks like I triggered a spin bug somehow. After a super spin, my free spin number changed form 0 to 500.....
 
I could really use some dollars. Would appreciate franchise or I have 1 business level 10 its the business to right of upper left corner when you open the town called laugh out loud. I can franchise your business if only cost coins as long as under 100,000. My boo yah I'd is 29960576 towns name is Splittsburg. Send me message. If you franchise me i will do same for you. Only get 5 gifts so if I have one I can send. I do have Disney World and Disney World Resort I picked up while in Orlando if you like. And Daytona International Speedway.

Aww thank you so much, and I DID notice that. I did appreciate it even though I felt awful that I couldn't do anything back after I finished up my 5 gifts !

Question: How do some of you get so many gifts ? Once I gift someone I can't gift again to the same person nor can I gift after 5 gifts to 5 towns.....

Also, yesterday I bought the old mandarin islamic restaurant with a pop of over 50.000.
After a couple of hours it dropped way down to 2000!! I read on the previous page that this strange drop will fix itself in a couple of weeks? How do you know for sure? Because now it seems like everytime a buy a new (expensive) high popularity business, it drops way down after a couple of hours. Not really worth it!

LOL no that cost 'real' money ! I wish it was just bucks ! I haven't gotten lucky enough to win it and now its not even on the spin is it ?

Aah I see you are in Sydney, I wondered with your towns having the opera house etc. I am in TAssy.

Ok first check you have the vacancy to build one more business, if not you either need to reach the required population or delete a business. Now change the skins of 9 of your businesses (it has to be exactly 9, I don’t think it works if you have more than 9) then build a 10th business of the same type and you will get the below decorations as a bonus:

Restaurant - Ice-Cream Truck
Office - Clock Tower
Café - Ice-Cream Truck
Market - Koi Pond
Retail - Koi Pond
Clothing - Koi Pond
Salon - Dinosaur Topiary
Fitness - Dinosaur Topiary
Entertainment - Dinosaur Topiary
Nightlife - Clock Tower
Travel - Clock Tower

A box will pop up saying you’ve reached a goal centre goal:
Goal Complete: Decoration + 3360coins + 100xp

A few things to be cautious of, be familiar of the skin of the business your trying to build, I’ve found that when I go into Menu > Store > Business and search for the type of business I want i.e. restaurant, it’ll show you anything but a restaurant which means I’m screwed for building the 10th business. If this happens I suggest you go to Menu > Social > Explore and find someone local to you that has a business of the type you want, it should only cost you coins since they’re local. Let me know if this works for anyone.

For claiming the decorations, simply go to Menu > Store > Decorations and scroll along to the items, you'll find there is a red circle in the right hand corner of the item with the number you currently have (if you collect them as you're receivign them then there will be a 1, if you wait until you've gone through all the businesses then you'll have a 3 in the corner for the Koi pond and so on. The ice-cream truck will be located right along at the end since it's not available any other time.

One other bit of advice, be carefuly when placing these itmes in your town, they're instant build items which means you can keep clicking the green arrow and they'll keep building - it's quite easy to do, but you'll only get the number that was displayed in the red circle free then it'll start charging you for the rest

Hey Melzzzy, the dragon is still there. Have you read about poeple clicking on the spin the wheel continuously/super fast? I gave it a go, gave myself a budget of 100bucks (I'm sure you've got a bigger budget than me :)) and got the dragon in about 5spins (I think I was just lucky, its taken other people loads more). With this method, I think the odds of winning are also better

Let us know how you get on.

OMG I got it!!!! I had to do a fair few spins but i won something most spins almost gave up i felt like an addict lol Yeah!! The eclipse is definitely on my side :). Thanks

I have quick. It had very high popularity but has decreased like everyone else's. But it's slowly rising.

Yes I caught that one while I was franchising a bunch of people. It will bounce up as it's franchised/gifted or checked-in. Check-ins are 1 pop point, don't know what franchises do.

Awww Melzzzy I'm so chuft ou managed to get a dragon. I've been catching up on the posts, just read about your troubles with topping up your bucks. I will forever be in debted to you for all that you've done for my town, I'm still gifting you population but let me know if you want me to start giving bucks

Damn Creperie is 80,000 population. Nuts. $11,000 bucks to franchise? Wtf? I'll never have that much money! Quick is only 968 at 127 bucks.

I'll need franchises to get Quick cuz only have 7 bucks right now. How much is quick and Creperie putting out for a 4 hr job? With my 45 stock exchanges, I would get a grip from Creperie.

How do i change where my location is. I got to chose one time and i said new york but now i want to chose like sanfrancisco. Any ideas.

Hi Folks! I need some bucks help, and would like to thank any kind souls in advance! :)

I've accidentally upgraded one of my Level 9 businesses by mistake, which has seriously set me back in my pursuit of purchasing Mt Fuji. I suppose the silver lining is that I now have a Level 10 business (the Bayview Gardens restaurant towards the upper right corner), which makes me a potential recipient of the 1 Buck gift. I will definitely reciprocate any gifts sent my way!

I'm kind of fuzzy on how the 50 Buck franchising trick/strategy works, but if any of my businesses qualify for that trick (I have that Level 10 restaurant and a whole bunch of Level 9 businesses), I would be very grateful to say the least.

Its all good U03D, I can start helping again. must have been a 'glitch'. Phew ! And it is my pleasure to help. And I got a dragon or three ! LOL
 
Thanks to all the regular forum heroes on here! I was able to buy the statue of liberty :-D which is building as we speak. Silly/stupid/blind me I never noticed you could win a HUGE dragon on the spinning wheel! (how blind am I? To focussed on earning bucks i guess lol) But now Im all out of bucks since i spend them all on the statue..stupid!

I'm currently 160 Bucks short of the Fuji... still a long way to go, it seems. Here's hoping for a bit more help from our legendary Town Heroes. ;)

Thursday's daily deal is mt fuji, 40%off so its working out at 265 bucks
