Super sorry I didn't respond to this I'm just now back on.. They emailed me and I ran the update that fixed the bug.. :) thanks for caring though.. I'm super glad it's fixed and there are three new pages on here I'm going to catch up on :)

On the brighter side it gave my fingertips a break..heehee! If anyone out there is still franchising feel free to check out my "New York" side.. :) For us po folks there are some cheaper stores too..lol! Missed the game and you peeps..glad to be back! :) :) :) :)

Does anyone know if the trick to change location by deleting the app and reinstalling (then choosing the location from the list) will still work on an iPod touch? When I go to delete it the message reads "will delete app and all of it's data" which I would expect it to delete the save game too, anyone know?

My town is 95% complete thanks to this community

Hey guys, I just wanted to send out a massive thanks to the many fine people on this message board. I came here only about a week or so ago, still very green but anxious to build the town of my dreams. Now I'm at Level 46, have 100 billion coins, bought up all the land and have come very close to achieving my town vision. First off, a big thanks to Zaffre, Sven, Yool, CandyLand, all the others who franchised from me. It helped me raise the necessary bucks to get the goodies I really wanted. To me, this game has never been about buying up all the most popular businesses and stockpiling gold and bucks, and being the most popular town. It has been about designing and building something really cool. Hopefully sometime soon we will get new levels and more land.

I have learned a lot, and I'd like you all to take a look at my near-complete town. Barracuda Bay, ID # 33760646. It really is a work of art IMHO. I managed to combine aspects of six of my favorite places, i.e. Long Island, NY; New York, NY; Las Vegas, NV; Fort Knox, Old Louisville, and central KY; Miami, FL; and London, England to make a sick town.

For those still looking to franchise and find some cool places around the Long Island, New York City, Las Vegas and Miami areas, I have the following establishments:

guys i need 10k bucks to franchise the mixer bar pleaseeeee help me by franchising my ny times, starbucks ny or nintendo world, they give me like 2000bucks each. i really want this mixer bar, everybody has it :(
 
Wow, it's nice to see that people actually play that game, I've been doing everything myself so far.

I'm lvl 32 with ~76,000 people in my town, mainly focused on businesses. Nice to see there's a community.

I don't know what the ID is for, but here's mine - 32003780.
And the town name - Rakk City. :)


Oh and we could add eachother, I'll finally put my gifts to use.

I am level 50 and have 25 businesses. Just now found this forum. Wish I had Found sooner.

My booyah ID is 31715131. Would appreciate any love you can throw my way.

The best advice I can give is to travel. My biggest regret is not buying Disneyland when I was in California. Was only 400,000 coin. At the time I only had local business and it would have taken me a week to get that much cash. I sold the majority of my local businesses and bought while on vacation. I now earn 400,000 a day. Next trip to CA. I'm getting Disney!

Is there a benefit to franchising a popular business?

If I franchise a business from another town that has a high popularity what is the benefit to my town? Can someone please help me with an answer
