Smaller notch is possible but I hate to disappoint those who say the notch is going away. It isn't going to happen in 2020 and probably not in 2021 unless someone develops a way to make the camera and sensors work through the display.

I would like the battery percentage back!... One of my nitpicks about the iPhone

Yes. Seriously does. I have face unlock turned on. Works great even in the dark.

If for any reason it doesn't read my face (sunglasses) I can use under screen fingerprint.

This is the problem with iPhone users. They seriously do not follow/understand what others are doing have already been done or are also offered.

Also note, my wife has an XS Max and enjoys her phone.
