This is a great review. Very helpful for me to. My girlfriend decided to go with the 17 PM so I ordered one for her. I am still waiting to receive it though, because I missed the initial ordering window.
Anyway I myself debated as to whether I would purchase the Air. I had to purchase a 16e back in February because my old iPhone 12 PM ended up getting destroyed. I decided to get the 16e as mainly a stop gap until the new 17 lineup came out. But I have been torn myself as in which direction to go. Part of me loves the brilliant design and feel of the Air. But it is as others have pointed out a bit compromised. Too much on the balance of form over function. I like you take a lot of pics and the one single fashion camera would be a big loss for me.
I am waiting to get my girlfriend's 17 PM so I can see what direction I am going to go. The 16e is fine for right now. It's an underrated phone IMO for its price and what it does. But I miss the larger screen from my lost 12 PM. The Air kinda comes in the middle of the 12 PM and the 17 PM as for the screen size. So I would be in a happy medium if I go with the Air, but I have always gravitated toward the biggest screen that I can get, and that of course is the 17 PM.
Very tough decision here. But your review was a big help.
