Anyone Else Sick Of 3G Waiting?

This is how Apple operates. They didn't give a date for a reason. They are having supply issues with the WiFi iPad, I am sure they are going to do as much as they can to keep from having these same issues with the 3G iPad. I'm guessing estimated delivery... April 30. That is late April. In fact, if it were to ship any time before the 24 I would be pretty shocked.

I will start to worry if we haven't had a date announced by this time next week. That could mean Late April might become Early May.

This has been thrown around a lot, and I don't understand the reasoning.

There are three parts to a month- early, mid, late. We are in mid-April right now... not late April. If the month has 30 days, "Late-April" would start on the 20th, would it not?

Late-April is not mid-to-late April. Doesn't make any sense...
 
I received my Apple iPad case today that I pre ordered along with my iPad wifi + 3G.....would be nice if I had the iPad to go with right now apple!! grrrrr!! KILLING ME!!

I'm surprised you just received your case now... Did you pre-order the iPad on the 12th? I pre-ordered my 3G iPad on the first day, and I got my case two weeks ago... The only thing that hasn't shipped is the camera connection kit.
 
I am guessing they will give us a date ship date on April 18 or 19 since that is 15 days after the April 3rd release so the 300,000 or so people that bought then can no longer return theirs. If they were to say a date now, and it would be in a week or so, I am guessing a lot of people would think "I can live without the iPad for a week...Ill return it and get the 3G".

i highly doubt that. I am guessing late may you will get it just like when the rest of the world gets the wifi one you will get the 3g. I hope you lot dont get the 3g one until we at leats get wifi.

I already have a WiFi one but have the 3G on order too.

Why not order from eBay? I sold two on eBay, one to UK and the other to Germany. Didn't even make a profit, actually lost $20 total.
 
I bet we get an announcement tomorrow, since that's two weeks from the end of the month.

And just for fun, everyone pre-order the 3G. Maybe we can push back the ship date for international sales, just to punish those bitter non-Americans!

Won't happen. Stock has already been pre-allocated.

Another possible reason for the uncertain release date for the 3G iPad is that AT&T may not be ready. They have to set up a new pre-pay billing system for the iPad, and that work may not have been completed.

I think Apple should completely shut out the international world - I'd like to see their profits then!

Besides, I'm really happy that all the wifi guys and gals are working through workflow issues, app testing, etc.

Hopefully by the time the 3G's ship the devs will be hard at work polishing up apps, squashing bugs, etc...

My big hope is that there are plenty of 3G models shipped when it does get released... Have not pre ordered - but may try to score one when they do - still on the fence here... both on my actual desire for the iPad and what size to buy. LOL Getting that close to bringing out my checkbook. :)
 
Enjoy the sweet, yet painful wait for your iPad. Think of what you are doing as tantric purchasing.
