iPhone Anyone have a working "TAP to Unlock"

Same here. Really looking for an invisible lock too. Can't seem to find the .png files browsing either.
 
yeah not working for me either :( theres alot of apps that wont even download. the only one i have that i want is SBSettings

Are you talking about the Winterboard Theme? I haven’t tried it, because I’m not sure I want to put WB on this phone, but I used that theme on my 3G and it worked flawlessly. Yes, I miss it. Stupid Apple for giving us no way to tap and having to usually use two hands to open our phone.

No. The lockinfo app has an option for an invisible unlock.

Are you missing a thumb? Most of us "slide to unlock" with our thumb.... why does it take two hands? LOL. But seriously, I want "A Better Tap To Unlock" like I had pre-4.0
 
I miss this a lot too. I believe the one I had for my 3GS was called "A Better Tap to unlock" or something very similar to that. It looked very nice and worked flawlessly. I wish I could use it.

No, I just find it can sometimes take me two or three times to slide to unlock if I use one hand. It’s annoying. Anyway, there was no reason for Apple to make it this way.
 
I use activator in sbssettings for a double home button click to unlock. Easier than tap for me because tap can sometimes fail.

Shoot, I had my “aggie response to fanboy” text all ready to go. :D I think Apple must have done this to keep “most” people from driving and unlocking the phone (unless they thought it was cool). They should have just given us the option to slide or tap. That’ll probably be a feature for iOS 5. :)

I think it's just the thing they thought would separate the device from any other. Today it's not a big deal because many phones have multi-touch screens that'll allow a smooth scrolling slider, but back in the day of iPhone 2G (yeah pull out the history books), that was pretty damn cool... remember when Steve said "all you have to do is 'slide' to unlock" and the audience went wild. Funny how quick something gets dated. ehh?
 
There is a new one on cydia that works!Do a search for tap to unlock and the new one has (iphone 4)in brackets.Its tested and doing its thing on my ip4.:)
 
Got it installed but there is no 'Tap to unlock' on the lock screen, but it does function when tapping the screen where the slider normally is.
