iPhone Anyone have a working "TAP to Unlock"

http://gallery.me.com/jonnybaird#100003/AL1&bgcolor=black - AL1 has the 'tap to unlock' text, AL2 brings up the Android Lock pattern ( you choose a pattern to unlock the phone ) and AL3 i actually have a blank tap button where you just tap the lower area and it brings up the unlock pattern....
If you're just looking to tap and unlock to the springboard then this wouldn't suit at all!
'Tap to unlock' can be changed to any text or emoji you like of course....AL1 leads to AL2 so you need to unlock to springboard by entering a pattern!
Like i said...if you want to tap and unlock straight to springboard then this isn't worth getting!

i installed "tap to unlock" on ip4
how can i hide it now?....lockinfo will hide it but it then changes it back to a hidden slider instead of tap.
or,how could i change the text to something else?
also,is there a way i can ssh 'tap to unlock' so i can remove winterboard?

I did NOT create this, it was done for me. It is an INVISIBLE TAP to UNLOCK with a VISIBLE TAP to ANSWER button for the I-4.
You will have to SSH or use IPHONE BROWSER or IFILE to manually add it to your themes folder after unzipping it. Works great for me.

now do i ssh it into same path where the original tap to unlock is located in themes and replace?

can i ssh this into another path and not have to use winterboard somehow?...that would be nice

Rockerdan, i see that you have made the weather icon bigger.I tried to make it bigger in LockInfo settings but nothing changed , did you reboot after changing yours?
plugin htc settings...layout> use space save>OFF....remove extra space>ON
icon scale slid all the way to right
city font all slid to right
description all slid to right too
i think it does NOT need a respring,but you can try if yours isnt going larger....it took me awhile to get it large like this.

Thats the invisible one (from BigBoss), which does work on iPhone 4. ModMyI has Tap to Unlock (iPhone 4), which keeps the text for Tap to Unlock. This also works on iPhone 4.
Thanks for letting my know about the ModMyi version as i didn't like the green slider to answer on the Bigboss version.
Would be nice to make the ModMyi version fully transparent so it just shows the box containing 'Tap to unlock'.
Im not totally sure, but if you edit the Springboard.strings file you may be able to put the text into the clear BigBoss one.

Ok i got something to work ......it still uses winterboard unfortunately though,so you need winterboard for this setup.
this is the custom IP4 "tap to unlock",which is NOT SHOWN on lockscreen(clear lockscreen),and ive added a nicer RED "tap to power down" and a much nicer "TAP TO ANSWER" png image. So now this looks much better IMO.
for this you simply need to SSH the attached folder into <root> .....>Library>Themes
just drop this folder to Themes,then you can REMOVE any other tap to lock themes or at least disable them in winterboard.

Actually the "invisible tap to unlock" from BigBoss doesn't work on the iPhone 4 (at least on the two I have here and a few other people who have tried it) the one I posted as an attachment is a modified version of the one mentioned in my post number 21 which is "Tap to unlock iPhone 4" which was not invisible and did not have "tap to answer."
Sorry, but BigBosss works for me (even thought I didnt want it). I must have the golden iPhone 4.

It's the only one I can use right now because I DON'T what the Tap To Answer. I'm in a group that get's after hours calls for work and I couldn't answer the call when I had my 3gs. I was putting my phone back in my case when my finger tapped the screen and answered the call by accident.
So the blank tap to unlock and the big green slider for answering a call works perfectly for me.

so what i did was i removed the png with the text "tap to power down" which then brought back the original RED SLIDER(without slide to power down text)

The one I posted in post #32 (which was the same one you modified) works fine for me with a TAP to power off. It does seem you have to "push" a little harder rather than a light "tap" but it definitely is not "slide." Maybe the # of pixels in the touch area needs to be expanded?
