There are questions that have multiple answers to it so you have to select more than one answer.

On the other note, so how long did it take for you guys receive your certifications?

They don't send certs, just email a pdf.

That's just cheap. I was hoping for a shiny apple certificate to hang on my wall.

I do wish they would hurry up completing the new Certified Pro directory.

Cisco gives you the option. I chose the PDF; I can print it on shiny paper if I want.

I don't do Apple certs; the world of break-fix isn't for me.

Oh yeah? Odd. I've taken the test last month and I did not receive any e-mail from them.
I use computers 25 years now, I am an experienced user.
Last 2 years I use mac.

I read carefully the book, and a few minutes ago I took the sample test (10 questions). Unfortunately I made a good choice only for 5 questions from the total 10.
I am dissapointed.
I have taken cambridge exams, ecdl exams about windows and its application, with absolutely no reading at all.
And now I read this book for several weeks (in order to fully understood it) and I cannot pass the sample test. What a pity.
I dont know if it worths for me to take the exam.

Maybe apple exam is too difficult. Maybe I am not a good enough mac user! What do you think?

I hope I could find a list of hundreds of questions about the exam but apple is no microsoft. Microsoft has excellent documentation for its awful products. So many books, even free on the web.
Apple gave us only a 10 question sample test and that's all!
No more info! And nobody ever, ever, leaked a full exam to give us a better picture of the whole thing! Something like a caste! It would be a blasphemy for somebody to do it! Microsoft gives info in abundance about their exams. Officially! Apple give us almost nothing. And once again I am embarrassed that nobody else too, made ever an effort to give to the others additional info. It would not be a cheating because I am sure apple, as any other company, has thousands of questions to choose from, everytime they run an exam. It would be just help for the few people interested in their exams.

I cannot convince myself reading again the book, I just can't do it.
But I could practice on sample questions and past papers.

No luck.

Nope, the set of questions you get are the same each time.

The exam is easier than the test questions.

Each time the set is exactly the same? All the people take the same questions?
It seem unbelievable to me.

No, it's drawn from a pool of questions as far as I'm aware. Same goes for the Apple exams.

The reason why you'll find more books and practice exams for Microsoft is simply because they are more popular. Third party training providers don't find it worth their time to create practice questions when the market for Apple certs is so small.

It's true. I did some Apple training with one of the guys who writes the questions and course content. I know other people who've taken the exam. There is only one set of questions.

After lots of efforts searching google for some time, I found another sample test from private company. I score 14/20, much better than the original apple test.
Maybe I am not so bad as I thought.

I am still thinking if I am having possibilities to pass it or not.
Decide whether to take the exam or not.

Bear in mind, if you got those questions from the more ...dubious... websites, those are not sample questions, but actual questions from the exam.

Just some sets of questions from education/test centers, no torrents or rapidshare exists about it.

I get happier to have this score even though I should get even better to pass the exam (I think 16/20 is equal to 73/90).

That's why I need more tests to practice them, but it so difficult to find them.
I also found a 10.4 set of questions, I don't know if it is good to look at it.

What site did you get them from?

I want to thank everyone on the forum, I took and passed the test today.

There were some items I swear i don't remember even seeing on the prep material but overall it is a very fair test.

Sky Blue if I remember well (I am not at home now) it belongs to an education center 'test king', or something like that.

It was not easy to find them.

I wonder if it I should take the exam. If I had more of them I could know where I stand.

You mean that the same exam is given, in January 2009 and March 2009?
This is valuable information.

If you got them from test king, then they are real exam questions, not samples.

Yes, they have one set of questions.

Ok, I believe there is only one set of questions if you say so.
But it sounds strange to me.

Does anyone have any experience on the technical matters of the exam process?

Is the examination actually a .vce file running on a server?

Is there permission for the user to access an original osx working environment (though without internet to avoid cheating) or all he sees is an examination process running?

what country are you taking it in? In the US prometric centers use Windows for the exams.

In Greece, where there is not an official prometric center, but a third party educational organization which cooperates with prometric.
I think they told me about 'VUE exam'.

Can someone that has given the exam the previous exams can tell us if there are any command line questions?

All tests I 've found on the net have not even a single question about cli.
